Slow Start is one of the worst abilities in the game, halving the user's Attack and Speed for its first 5 turns. It's designed to nerf Regigigas but it goes way overboard to the point of making Regigigas borderline unusable.
However, I just had a thought on how they could change Slow Start. What if rather than having to deal with half Attack and Speed all 5 turns, they raise gradually each turn. So the first turn it would have 50% Attack and Speed, then its second turn it would have 60% Attack and Speed, then its third turn 70%, and so on until its up to 100% after 5 turns. Would this fix Slow Start? Do you have another idea on how to fix Slow Start?
