It's probably some agonizingly obvious source or probably already answered, buuuut...I'm always hearing praise for the un-dubbed originals (as I would expect- who can beat originals anyway? let alone crazy senseless censors here) and I can't view them. I love the dub-version voice actors, but I'm so far behind and, well, anyway, I'd just like to see the full original episodes. What with there being too many upsides to it that I can't even list, more than likely. Now I hear(d) from my latest obsession (which is the Bulbacast...I love you's people!) that you can see them on the internet. ...and I don't know where. ...and I can't speak or understand Japanese...so this little fan here needs to find that with English subtitles. Mind lending me a paw?

Just about everyone here gets their episodes from [HASHTAG]#pocketmonsters[/HASHTAG]. It's an IRC channel, meaning you'll need a program like mIRC to access it. Once you get the program, you can follow the tutorials on the [HASHTAG]#pocketmonsters[/HASHTAG] website to download the episodes.

As far as subbed episodes goes...there are a few random episodes here and there subbed, but the overwhelming majority of the Japanese episodes have not been subbed by any group. Dattebayou (sp?), who subs Naruto, has been subbing some of the Diamond & Pearl episodes, but I'm not sure if they're still doing that nowadays.

What Dogasu said is correct [HASHTAG]#pocketmonsters[/HASHTAG] is the main source for original episodes. For full details go to the main site

http://pocketmonsters.net

You can also download various episodes on the tracker but you must have a bittorrent client active to download the episodes there and also be on the main IRC channel

Dattebayo does not sub Pokemon anymore. That was only a one time "joke" and they will most likely not sub another episode.

So, there's no...uh...subbed newer Pokemon episodes? *sweat drop* Oh boy, I hope my inferencing skills can be honed. Thanks for the help so far, you guys. Hope I can get a bit more information, too. I'm very much a newbie when it comes to Pokemon being online. (Wow, eight-year-long fan and I'm just now getting into the online fandom.)

Yeah, unfortunately, I think there's only about 16-18 subbed episodes total. I don't know, there might be a few more episodes than that. But the thing is, [HASHTAG]#PocketMonsters[/HASHTAG] just doesn't have enough people to translate all the Pokemon episodes.

And most people, when it comes to the Pokemon anime, they just wouldn't want to sub something that's so "kiddie" or whatever it is they think about Pokemon these days.

Looks like I'm having no luck with getting these episodes, oy. At least, which US stations are best for catching more relatively up-to-date (for the US, anyway) episodes..?

I actually get my RAW episodes from somewhere else besides pocketmonsters.net. I've actually seen all 276 episodes from the original series RAW, save for one or two, although some of the files are utter crap. I mainly do it to see what music plays where, which really isn't a very good reason. But that's really the main difference between the original and the Dub.

But yeah, subbed episodes of Pokemon are hard to come by. It's probably for the same reason you can't find many episode on Youtube. The production crew at Shogakukan really seem to be cracking down on mass distribution of their Anime without their permission.

Not only anime, but big amount of files just containing "Pokemon" in name was removed without any warning. While ones with "Pocket Monsters" were left.

There are no public subs except for the DVD-subs to the movies. All other subs are fansubs that common people are doing at their spare time, besides there are quite a few people, mature enough to create subtitles, that fancy this type of anime. That's why there aren't a lot of them, but they'll hopefully keep on coming but slowly.
