Personnaly, I think, after they do the 5th generation remake of an older region, that they should create a game that combines all of the regions and starters and etc... In those games they should also put new things like things they would probably not put on other games, for example; some wild starters and all of the legendary pokemons. What do you think?:)

I think you are not the first person to come up with this idea and if I could find the threads that talk about this I would think them here.

See, I disagree.

1. That would take a lot of memory to make and still keep the regions whole. I do not know the 3DS's specs, but I don't think even it could pull that off.
2. In the Tohjo games, the levels are spread out over the 16 gym leaders. If you had 40 gym leaders, imagine how bad the leveling would be.
3. Unless they can get a awesome plot, this game would be so repetitive.

i'm not talking about the Nintendo DS necesserily and with what they've done up to now, i'm sure they could find an awsome plot.

ryuu, i think the same way too - if they did make a version wih all 4 regions in it, the game will be so repetitive because you would have to probably go through all the different elite four's and that would be annoying to have to beat easy trainers which you can OHKO and not even use any strategy!

I'm sure that they could find a way to make it interesting.

I know, I was talking about the 3DS

As for plot, Pokemon has never been known for detailed plot. Sure they've tried in Hoenn, Platinum, and HGSS, but it's not the kind of plot I can see going on for 40 gyms and 5 leagues.

They'd hve to raise the level cap by aleast 50 levels to keep everything spaced properly, and they'd need a hell of an evil team that wouldn't disband at the sight of <enter Player Character here>.

Sounds like an interesting concept, but I'll say no. There may be a lot to do in the game, but it's hard to try and beat every single gym that's appeared.

Yah, immagine, from 35th gym leaders to the top, they will be having 100 lvls

Oh, I know, the ranger and GC games could have stylers when you go in and you could get shadow pokemon. IF they would put in EVERY region.

This has been brought up a hundred times before, but...

YES, I think it's a good idea if you can get it to work, but you'd have to find a good way to tie all the regions together, and it'd have to be on a platform with enough memory space in a game to hold it all, which would likely sacrifice graphical capability among other things. Beyond that, the game would become obsolete when Gamefreak inevitably comes out with a new generation of games.

So no, probably not going to happen.

That is a good idea. The game would be even more famous than HeartGold & SoulSilver. It'd last longer and have better features. I, of course, would buy it.

my dream Pokémon game has two main new regions and a third one that you can only access a small part of it. It got a full detailed map and looks accessible too but you can only access that small poration.
That's three main chapters, chapter one got a unique story on the first region after ending it a whole new story opens up and on another region after that hero decides to collect badges. Start being able to enter and battle gym leaders to collect all eight badges, four in each region. Also new areas open up. After getting all the badges you get access to the elite four portion of the third new region. Defeat them and you'll be able to travel to seven different far away islands resembles environment from seven main places in the world. Africa, Middle East, South Asia (Indian states), North Asia (Russia), Far East Asia (Asia, japans, china and Korea and stuff..), Oceania and South America.

So yeah I guess I am with the many world map option. For the level thingy, game should let you level up quickly anyway since you'll be raising so many different pokemons. all serious battles like gym leader should have a fix level like 50. Any higher and your pokemon level should decrease to fifty on that battle. There, problem solved and game got much more challenging too.

I remember thinking that this would be the best idea ever when I was like 13 or younger but thinking about it now, no I don't really like the idea.

We just had a remake of HGSS and along with that came Kanto, I was soooo thrilled with HG till I got to Kanto, even though the graphics got better there wasn't much to do there, apparently this was a complaint in the first Johto games but I didn't notice because I was pretty young then. Anyway if even HGSS are going to have a dulled down Kanto imagine how much would have to be cut out of ALL 5 regions to get them to fit into one game. No, I'd rather go play the original games than play the bare bones versions just so I can have them all in one cartridge.

Also like others have said the level range would be a problem.

Personally I'd rather see new regions than revisit the old again and again.

Thinking about it, we could not have to work as a Pokémon Trainer only (badges, Elite 4, etc...), like, we could be only a Pokémon Coordinator of Ranger.

And for the required space of memory, it could be a premiere, on PC(computer)!!!

If they switch from hand held consoles I hope they'd make it for Wii or at least Mac compatible too, I hate when all the games I want to play are ONLY for the PC. -_-;
