Form Artwork?

Is there any particular reason why we only have Artwork of Single Forms on the pages of Pokemon now? For instance, Shaymin is only Sky Form, Giratina is only Origin Form, and Rotom is only Frost Form . . . I remember these Pokemon and Deoxys used to have artwork of all of their forms on their pages. Any reason for the change to single artwork and where can the old artwork be found?

The infoboxes and some other portions of Pokémon with more than one form change on different schedules. I believe this was to better display the artwork, since the multi-form images shrunk far too much in the infoboxes.

Examples of the schedules:

Shaymin - Works like the Gracidea. During the day , Sky Forme. During the night, Land Forme.

Giratina - Changes hourly (I think) between the Origin & Altered Formes

Rotom - Changes per day. Monday, Heat. Tuesday, Wash. Wednesday, Frost. Thursday, Fan. Friday, Mow. Saturday & Sunday, Normal.

That feels incredibly invasive somehow. Then again, I personally hate the idea that every time I'll need/want to go to the Shaymin page during the day that I'll be faced with that monster instead of the cute thing. Is there any way you can customize how you view the pages?

Because that whole change thing? Stupid as hell. Clever, but stupid.

Sorry Luna, but as far as I know there isn't a way to customize how a single user views the page. At least not any way at this time, maybe there will be in the future though.

Also, how is Shaymin's Sky Forme a monster? I think it's cute, just like the Land Forme >_>

There's skins, and I'm sure that there's some way we could modify them to affect the way a page appears. There's a template (factions) at TFwiki that's only embedded in the default skin. Of course, "The development process of this template included a truly spectacular recursion error that knocked the entire wiki offline as its stack overflowed, repeatedly and we think corrupted link-table entries that couldn't be resolved without deleting the whole thing and starting from scratch. That is why the current version of the template exists in a 'dumb' (non-recursive) form."

So making a template like that would be a headache.

I agree with luna, though. As cool as all this stuff is, it doesn't seem necessary to me. Although I don't know if I'd call it stupid.
