Former usernames?

Is there any way for those of us who don't spend every waking moment here to easily identify members who change their usernames? I mean, Habunake must change his username as often as he changes his underwear. There have been other members who changed their names who I eventually recognized. Some, I thought were new members.

I don't need to see an AKA in each posting, but it would be really nice to left-click on the username to see what other names they have used.

That used to be an option, but we had disabled it because it was nothing more than a generator of server load.

I'm gonna try and include Habunake in all my usernames to make it easy.

We may eventually consider re-adding that functionality, but at least during this load being caused by Diamond and Pearl, it wouldn't be desirable to be adding that extra load to the server.

As it is, it's already looking like we may possibily have to set up *another* server, just for either the forums or wiki's.

Why don't we just have a sticky thread that people post on to notify everyone when they change their username?

Rofl, but maybe if people just included a line in their sig that says "Formerly known as..." then there won't be a problem. I've only changed my name twice since I joined here, once from XD001emerald to ~*Rekkuza Ryuu*~, then another time from ~*Rekkuza Ryuu*~ to this.

So, tell us, do you change your username more often than your underpants? Inquiring minds want to know. Yeah, maybe all our beliefs about good and evil will be demolished by your answer, but I'm willing to take the chance.

That's a great idea, but some people would have sig so long it wouldn't be allowed.
