This RP will be divided up into an ongoing series of subplots ("Episodes"), which will all take place in the same, ongoing thread. The episodes will have clear beginnings and endings (separated by transitional OOC posts by myself), with an everchanging thread title ("The One Where..." "The One When..." etc.)

The basic plot of each episode will be brainstormed by the group as a whole ahead of time (as it's rather difficult to call any particular subplot "finished" if we haven't clearly defined it). The format for episode planning will look something like this (just an example):

Kyle: [Situation Kyle is dealing with in this episode]
Leo: [Situation Leo is dealing with in this episode]
Emma: [Situation Emma is dealing with in this episode]
Jackson: [Situation Jackson is dealing with in this episode]

The Episode won't air until every character has something planned, and it is preferable that the characters involve each other in their subplots. For example, Episode One might look something like:

Kyle: Wants to ask Emma out on a date, but is nervous and asks Leo to help him out - but Leo is also interested in Emma and gives Kyle intentionally terrible date-advice. Hilarity ensues.
Leo: ""
Emma: ""
Jackson: Attempting to smooze a potentially lucrative client, Jackson agrees to dinner at the client's home. However, when the hostess serves Mushroom Soup and her signature Egg Salad, to Jackson's dismay, he must decide whether to suck it up and devour the revolting dish, or admit he dislikes the meal and risk offending the client.

So that's how that will work (probably). Now, I'd like this RP to start at a point where a few conditions are met:

1. Most of the characters already at least somewhat know each other (went to high school together, relatives, met in college, just needed a room-mate to split expenses with, etc.)
2. Everyone lives in the same apartment complex (this one could potentially not be met until the end of the first episode).

So you guys might start discussing how your characters met/know each other.

Okay, I guess we should figure out how all the characters know each other.

If one of the guys wants to be Jackson's roommate and then they know the other guys through high school or college... I think that's a start.
 
Alrighty, Kyle will need a room-mate (without one he'd be a starving artist :XD:), how's that sound?
 
That sounds good.

And Jackson will let Kyle room with him because Kyle once bailed him out of a jam of some sort (which can be more backstory) which is why Jackson won't care about Kyle not always getting his share of the rent in.

Also, first Episode Plot so far:

Leo: Leo is looking for a room-mate to share expenses with, but both Kyle and Tyler want to room with Jackson. The guys compete for who rooms with whom, and ultimately Tyler ends up rooming with Leo.

Yuki has money, thanks to her fairly well-paid job.
She just moved into a new apartment block, and she could do with a roommate.
And probably a haircut.
 
Her new room-mate could give her a terrible haircut :p

Perhaps Leo could have also gone to school with Yuki? They'd be close enough that he'd want to help her find a roommate, which would end up being one of the other ladies? It neatly ties the cast together.
 
Okay, sure. It'd have to be high school or higher though. ^_^
 
Little unsure about my character as she's in the final year of her degree and I remember putting in her sign up that she had bought an apartment and settled down in it for a year before she went to uni. So she is living alone but I'm stuck on what to do?

Perhaps things are getting expensive and she's looking for a room-mate now to split expenses with? Could meet the other girls in public (coffee house, anyone :p) and the three could all decide to share a stereotypically spacious apartment together?
 
Well I did say she lvoes socialising over tea, coffee e.t.c (total uni sutdent xD).

But like I love that haircut idea, money thing, but like she's not like that, she's not jealous, bad in that type, remember? Poshy, preppy Brit girl and she hates like bad sorta manners.

Oh, you're referring to my "terrible haircut" idea?

Hehe, I didn't mean on purpose... I meant more like Emma gives Yuki a haircut, but Yuki hates it and doesn't want to admit it.

Not like it matters, I was kidding anyway. :XD:
