I saw this thread on another forum and it can be super fun. Here's how it goes:
First I'll write something fortunate then the next person says "but unfortunately"

So like this: first person writes "fortunately I ate ice cream today" second person writes something like "unfortunately, it was a flavor I hated!" and so on and so forth.

I'll start: Fortunately I have a day off from school today.
 
Unfortunately, you have to do yard work.

Fortunately, I am sipping on a smoothie.
 
But unfortunately, I don't have one for the rest of the month.

Fortunately, I have my test only on Wednesday.
 
Unfortunately, you didn't study hard enough and you failed D8.
Fortunately, your friend gave you the answers for a retake

(For the record, the way I played this game on other forums, we did not have a new thing we were fortunate about each time we posted. After someone posted what they were fortunate about, the next person posted something unfortunate about that. Then, the next poster posted something fortunate about the unfortunate statement above. Just something to think about.)
