I noticed the forum bug!

Try typing the Katakana Syllable Mu (U+30E0) and type some random letters after it, and then save post.

See what happens? The letter mu got deleted and everything which was after it also got deleted!

I got my almost entire post eradicated because of that bug!

Please fix it when possible, it's so annoying!

[mu, half-width]Half-width katakana, no space. Let's see how this works.
[mu, half-width] Half-width katakana, space. Let's see how this works.


And when I posted, there was nothing there. NOTHING. I didn't matter if the "mu" was full-width or half-width. It erased my post. And I just now tried posting full-width or half-width "mu" after everything else (as in I hit enter a couple of times after "It erased my post.") and only the two "mu" disappeared.


...Huh. It does matter. I tried a full-width "mu" at the very beginning of this post and saved and it erased everything again, then I typed a half-width "mu" and when I saved, everything was still there. So it's just full-width.

I previewed my message first and it switched characters...

And when I post without a preview, it erased it and everything after...

Then there must be a bug with vBulletin. Or MySQL. Not exactly something we can fix.
