Not sure if this is the correct forum to post in but...

The forum clock seems to be incorrect. It states that the time now is [roughly] 11:30 AM EST, but the actual time is about 4:30 PM.

This is likely a server related issue, as this problem is also being seen on the UPNetwork forums as well.

When you posted this, it was 11:36 AM, EST. You need to change your options (User CP, Edit Options) to your time zone.

I live in EST, I think I know what time it is and that's why I'm saying the time is wrong. It is set on the proper time zone (-5 from GMT) so it's the forums and not my settings or my clock.

EDIT: So who fixed it? And why was it off to begin with?

It's still not detecting Daylight Savings Time.

The clocks seems to be working 100% for me, right down to EDT.

The DST detection mechanism on vBulletin is... well, the best word to describe it is perhaps fake or phony. All it does is check against the clock on your computer and if the time difference is more than a certain threshold, it will toggle DST on or off.

Unless you happen to be in one of those places not observing DST at the moment, you are on EDT which is UTC-4.

Same difference. The important fact is that the post time didn't match real time despite the correct time zone setting.

Anyway, I assume the server fixed itself (or someone from another site got the server admin to do it) since no one answered my question or claimed credit for the fix.

Yes, there was a server issue. I was having the same problem as well and the new post indicators were not working properly. It had also affected Smogon from what I heard.
