As you read in the title, this is a forum song contest! Don't worry, you won't have to sing.
Rules if you would like to participate (more info is also in here):
As I am the creator, I have the power to disqualify any participant if I feel they are unworthy of competing.

Rules if you would like to participate (more info is also in here):
1. Post something like 'Count me in! I would like to represent {}' if you would like to participate.
2. Each person who wants to participate must represent a country. This can be any country in the world, but choose carefully.
3. Once you have chosen your country, you have until JUNE 17 to send me your song entry.
4. Your song entry can be any song, however, the singer MUST be from the country you've chosen. (so no Justin Beiber for Russia)
5. If you have a group with people of more than one nationality in it, you may choose which country to represent. (so for One Direction you can choose to represent either United Kingdom or Ireland)
6. You must PM me your song choice by JUNE 17 (as said in rule 3)
7. Only 40 spots will be available.
8. The first semi-final will take place on JUNE 22, the second semi-final on JUNE 24, and the final on JUNE 28.
9. Songs can be in any language you choose. (so if you chose Japan, a song in English is fine, as long as the singer is Japanese.)
10. Songs must be between 2:45 and 3:45 in length.
VOTING
1. So how does voting work? There will be 20 countries in the first semi-final, and 19 in the second. The country I choose to represent will automatically go to the final. {creator power hehe}
2. The countries will be allocated a semi-final randomly.
3. When the list comes up, look to see which semi-final you're in.
4. You may only vote IN YOUR SEMI-FINAL. If your country is placed in semi-final 1, you may not vote in semi-final 2.
5. Send in your votes like this:
The song you liked most gets 12 points.
The song you liked next most gets 10 points.
Then 8, then all the way down to 1 point, omitting 9 and 11.
So you give points to 10 countries. The other 10 in your semi-final will not receive points from you.
example:
12: Hungary
10: Barbados
8: France
7: Australia
6: Cuba
5: Austria
4: Uruguay
3: USA
2: Greenland
1: Chad
(these countries were chosen randomly)
6. You may NOT vote for your own country.
7. In each semi-final, the 12 countries with the most votes will go through to the Grand Final, along with me, the automatic qualifier.
8. In the Grand Final, every country votes, regardless of if you made it to the Grand Final or not.
9. The country with the most votes win the Forum Song Contest 2014 and, as a prize, automatically qualifies to the Grand Final in 2015.
