Fossil reviver and ancient pokemon trainer

I'm a long time trainer of pokemon from the R/B/Y days, and have loved every minute of the ride. I've been collecting real fossils for as long as I can remember and though I was enjoying the games, when I got to the end of Mt. Moon I knew it would be love. As a kid, resurrecting pokemon from fossils was the greatest thing ever. The list of pokemon I love is long but the fossil pokemon will always hold a special place in my heart. They remain in my mind some of the most unique and creative pokemon in the series.

I can't wait for the release of X and Y though I still need to get a 3DS, hoping for the release of a pokemon themed system in the US.

Fossils and Fossil Pokemon are pretty cool. I sure there may be an X/Y themed 3DS in the US, though since X/Y will probably be pre installed on it, I probably won't get one( I'm a fan of physical games) anyways, welcome to BMGf, FossilHunter. That's really adorable. The fossil bit in Pokemon is interesting and I do wish they'd do something more with it rather than just picking up the fossil and going to get it resurrected. You know, like a little mini-plot! Anyways, welcome to BMGf fellow newbie. Hope you have a great time here. <3

An X/Y fan! o: Gotta ask, is there anything in particular that you're excited about when concerning the upcoming new generation? For me, it's the kind of effect that Fairy-type will have. It's kind of nail-biting how we know nothing about Fairy-types other than the fact that they're super-effective against dragon, so their typing chart is really what I'm looking forward to the most. I'm hoping that it doesn't ruin anything, but I doubt it will.

@Emolga: I agree. The closest we came in my opinion was the underground in DPPt where you got to dig for fossils yourself instead of just being given one or finding it on the ground. I'm hoping for a bigger fossil bit with team flare mentioning they want to make money ressurecting fossils.

@Saeyru: First new type since gen II, I'm curious as well how fairy will play out. Dragon needs a nerf, most are (pseudo) legendary and the ones that aren't are still powerful. I also want to see if they'll change other type matchups as well like they did in gen II, poison type needs more love. What I look forward to the most is playing a main game in 3D. I've wanted that since the days of Pokemon Stadium and moreso with the let down that was the misspelled game cube games. Whatever else they are doing is just a bonus to me.
