As a finacially challenged university student, I'm always on the lookout for free food, and as everybody knows, food tastes so much better when it's free :3

Yesterday a local noodle bar was giving away delicious free Yakisoba and gyouza, it was incredible.

When was the last time you found free food, and what was it? Are there any places you go regularly for free food?

A Chipotle just opened near my house about a month ago and they were giving away free food for their opening day. Me and my family got like, $50 worth of food, all for free. It was awesome.

My dad has a shop with foods, basically hot/cold sandwiches, crepes, croissant based fast food and other assorted items. Lets just say free food is an understatement.

At this Korean grocery store called Lotte. They have all kinds of free samples. One of them was fried dumplings.

we get free food during summer school

DOWNSIDE: most of it sucks, even when free.

UPSIDE: i getz foodz

I won a contest at Edible Arrangements, and they gave me a beautiful fruit-and-berry basket.

The best I've got was the free samples at the grocery store.

There is a grocery store I go to sometimes called Stew Leonard's. They are always giving out free samples, you can practically have a whole meal there just by walking around the store! My favorite is when they were giving out free yogurt samples. They give a decent sized sample too.

Free food!! There's always free food on campus. I like the free food samples in grocery stores. My favorite would be when they give out either cake or strawberries. :D

One time my friends and I were in McDonalds. The cashier liked us enough to give us a free strawberry sundae for some reason. o///o

Another time, I got free pancakes at Ihop because it was Pancake Day. The wait was worth it. ~o~

... =v=;; I've gotten lots of free food from families. This isn't as bad as it sounds, actually. XD;; When I worked at the zoo with my dad, we would travel out for gatherings, birthday parties or even school education programs. When we were done, the people that were hosting whatever it was would always come up to us and ask if we were hungry. Being at an event like that for a good two to four hours? Yeah, we'd definitely take them up on their feeding us. \=v=/ And a lot of it was delicious. Best ones were when we did shows for people that were foreign, because then we god awesome foreign foods. * u *

These chocolates in a supermarket in Shanghai.

They were delicious, although they were selling live fire eels and turtles... 0__o

I think the last time we got free stuff was when we went to a Pappasito's and sis had never been. Free queso. Can't hate that.

a while ago i found free chilli chocolate cake
it tasted really good untill i ate the chili part

This was like four months ago or something, but when a 25 Burgers opened up by me for their opening weekend they were giving out free traditional burgers, and soda to anyone who went.

Cut up bread samples in Dunnes. So we go there sometimes and take the nice ones. It's good because they change samples regularly and almost always nice and they aren't stingey giving them out.
