Friction between China and Vietnam

China has been known for getting increasingly more aggressive in recent years, and the reason is because they have one of the fastest growing economies in the world, as well as the largest military, and with these facts, China seems to be trying it's hardest to boast it's powerful position in the world. Very few countries are allied with China, mainly because it's aggressive territorial claims have annoyed it's neighbors, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, and especially Taiwan.

China has been like that throughout history though. They really don't have much of a foreign policy to their neighbours compared to trading partners. I mean China has been in 'conflict' with Japan, Korea and surrounding areas pretty much for the most of the 20th century, so it is not a surprise that they took this approach yet again. However the Chinese Government doesn't have any sort of transparency so we could only assume.
