We've had Sailor Moon. We've had Tokyo Mew Mew, Precure, and Madoka. We've had a million anime featuring Magical Girls for years and years.
But how about Magical Boys?

It started airing as an original animation in 2015 January.
Discussion points (you can add new ones!)
1. Do you think this will become an important change in the trend of anime industry?
Personally, yes. If I remember correctly, there's never been a magical boy anime. Even if there was a magical boy as a character (such as Sinbad from Kaitou Jeanne), they were usually supporting characters, and most of the time they weren't even remotely similar to 'magical'. If this becomes popular, we might be able to see more diverse magical boy anime in the future :3 And I mentioned below, but since this seems to be created with the female audience in mind, there will be more anime and such for the female audience - and they will be more out in the open. More (pretty) boys featured in shows, and possibly stretching out to more reverse harem contents, and even yaoi. They could join the major genres.
2. Target audience - who will likely watch it?
Anybody who likes it would watch it, but since this was probably created with the female audience in mind, it's likely girls would watch it. It's been the same for any other anime with a whole group of pretty boys in it, such as Free! - they were intentionally created for girls.
3. Possible speculations on the plot
It's a new challenge. I'm sure there will be fascinating new plots since this will be telling the tales of magical boys and thus will possibly offer masculine views even if they have similar storylines to a typical magical girl anime. I have to say, I'm rather excited and curious about this anime. I can't wait to see how the usual sparkly, frilly, girly atmosphere would fit with the boys.I can't wait for the transformation scenes
