Hey guys, I'm just a fun-loving rascal who likes Porygon. It's a shame it's been sentenced to the background since that unfortunate incident. Kind of like what happened with Jynx. Maybe Porygon and Jynx hang out together and complain about being blackballed from working in Hollywood ever again.
I do not keep up with anime or manga or anything outside of the games. I grew up with gens I, II, and III, with II being my favorite - not even gonna deny the power of nostalgia. I like gens V and VI. Gen IV is probably my least favorite, although I don't think it's horrid. My opinion on gens I and III changes depending on whether Mercury is in full retrograde. I will probably buy Alpha Sapphire, but I really want to buy both because Team Magma also looks pretty swagalicious.
I am trying to Catch 'Em All. My Pokedex count on Y is nearing 500 and I am yaaaaaaasssing so much. I tried doing it in Black, but then Y came out and I just gave up on Black, ha ha. At least with Pokebank I could transfer them all to Y. Ultimately my goal is to have a living Pokedex. Ideally I'd have one of each forme and Pokemon with mega evolutions would have their stones, but honestly I'm missing too many event legends to care about mega Heracross or whatever. That'd just be icing on the cake. Right now I'm going through the painful process of transferring Pokemon from my Gen III cartridges to Gen VI. I have some Pokemon that are nearly ten years old and I think that's kind of incredible. (I also have Pokemon that are older but you know about that awkward deal where your Gen I/II Pokemon can't escape their Gameboy prisons *sobs deeply*) I'm just imagining a really old Kyogre scolding this ORAS Kyogre. "Back in my day, we didn't have primal reversion! We stuck in a cave and quarreled with Groudon when he put his fingers in my oatmeal and that was juuuust fine for us! Kids, getting so spoiled with every generation."

Im probably buying both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire myself and Im also completing my Pokedex, though Ive got a long way to go :/ Good luck in completing yours though
