As announced late last month, Sleep Researchers will soon be getting another opportunity to observe the sleep styles of the Legendary Beasts in Pokémon Sleep, with the two week long Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Research event scheduled to commence Monday September 8th at 4:00am local time. Also announced were details on the Triple Week Bundles available from the in-game shop for the Triple Type Week event commencing next Monday August 25th.

Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Research
During the event's first week, Researchers will need to conduct their sleep research on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, Taupe Hollow, Old Gold Power Plant, or Greengrass Isle (Expert) to participate and gain bonuses and rewards from this event. During the event's second week, Researchers may participate and gain bonuses regardless of where they conduct their sleep research.

The following bonuses will be active throughout the event period:
  • Snorlax in the event areas during both weeks of this event with have Grepa, Leppa, and Oran Berries set as their favorite Berries, regardless of which area Sleep Research is being conducted in. These berries can be found on Electric, Fire, and Water-type Pokémon.
    • Researchers participating in the event in an Expert area will have Snorlax's main favorite berry selected randomly from among these three berries, with the sub-favorite Berries then being the remaining two types.
  • Strength gains from dishes will be multiplied by ×1.1.
    • This bonus is multiplicative, so Extra Tasty dishes will receive a ×2.2 total bonus through most of the week, and a ×3.3 total bonus on Sunday September 14th and 21st.
  • Fire-, Water-, or Electric-type helper Pokémon's main skills are ×1.25 more likely to be triggered.
  • Researchers can encounter a few Pokémon of different sleep types regardless of their own sleep type for the day.
  • Raikou Incense, Entei Incense, and Suicune Incense can all be used in Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, Taupe Hollow, Old Gold Power Plant, and Greengrass Isle (Expert) during the event period.
    • Following the event's conclusion, these Incense will once again only be usable in areas where these Pokémon normally appear.
The following additional bonuses will also be available during the following periods:

Similar to the previous events featuring Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, Researchers will be collecting samples of Pokémon Materials to redeem for a variety of valuable items in the Event Exchange. These include Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Incense, and Main Skill Seeds, as well as Premier Biscuit items specifically intended to help Researchers befriend these three Legendary Pokémon. Premier Biscuits are a special blend of biscuit only able to be used with Raikou, Entei, and Suicune during this event, increasing their friendship points by 6. Following the conclusion of the event, any leftover Premier Biscuits will be automatically converted into Great Biscuits. Prices for items in the exchange will vary during the event, with discounts on various items in the event's second week.

Methods of obtaining Pokémon Materials have not changed from these previous events, with the main way to acquire them being from daily sleep research. The exact number of Pokémon Materials received by Researchers will depend on the species of Pokémon sleeping around Snorlax, and the sleep styles that Researchers find them in. In addition, Researchers will also be able to collect Pokémon Materials from completing a set of special limited-time missions that will be added on top of the standard weekly missions, and as a rare reward from the Research Community, Researchers unable to access the Research Community screen will receive limited-time special gifts of 70 Pokémon Materials at the beginning of each week of this event, on September 8th and 15th.

Pokémon Materials will also be available for purchase from the in-game shop with the Legendary Research Bundles Vol. 1 and Legendary Last Chance Bundles Vol. 1 that will go on sale during the event. More details on these bundles will be released at a later date.
