Full Types Explanation:Weaknesses and Everything

Physical Types:Types that rely on the ATK and DEF stats.
Bug
Fighting
Flying
Ghost
Ground
Normal
Poison
Rock
Steel
Conclusion: Since Fighting is weak to Flying,And is a physical type, if it doesn't have enough defense, it's gonna experience a world of PAIN.
same for.....
-Fighting > Normal
-Ground > Poison
-Ghost > Ghost ( ghost really have WEAK DEFENSE.)
-Steel > Rock ( they're defense players.)
-Ground > Rock ( Rock is a defense player; Ground an attack player.)
-Flying > Bug

I think that's all.
Special Types: Types that rely on the SP. ATK and SP. DEF stats.
Dark
Dragon
Electric
Fire
Grass
Ice
Psychic
Water
Conclusion: Dragon may resist all sorts of Special Types,
But if it doesn't have the right SP. ATK, its resistances may become USELESS.

Weaknesses, Resistances and Immunities
Italic -Weakness Bold - Resistance Underline -Immunity

Bug:Fire-burns bugs. Rock- crushes bugs. Flying-eats bugs.Fighting-to small to punch. Grass-being eaten by bugs.Ground-???.
NO IMMUNITY/S :-(

Fighting:Psychic-Ruins concentration to move. Flying-Needs no distance but sky is far away.Bug-can't fight brute power.

That's pretty cool. :)
Although they scrapped the whole Physical/Special type thing for Generation IV. Every individual move now has its own status of either Physical or Special.
 
Due to Gen IV it's now based on the move itself. Some types changed alot(physical/special moves) such as Dark-type, In gen III it is special but in Gen IV all of the moves became physical, only special Dark-Type is dark pulse (which was introduced in Gen IV)
