The year was 2070 and dawn was beginning to break in the expantious Lumiose City, the capital of the Kalos Region and one of the biggest and most advanced cities in the world at this time. Talls buildings alligned well with architecture of the past, long waterways that went through the city, below the railways that passed above ground along the buildings.

At the center of the city stood Prism Tower, once holding Lumiose City's gym and now standing proud as one of the larger Battle Arenas in the world, a place were Warriors could fight against each other in one of the many arenas the tower held in order to see who was the strongest or just to hone their skills.

Michael yawned, putting on some clothes as he awoke inside of his small apartment in the eastern part of the city. He combed his hair slightly, putting on a white jacket with a hoodie over a red flannel sweater and black jeans. He didn't want to be late to school but had stayed up till late finishing his preparations for that day, the day where he would finally take on an actual Fusion Battle.

Ever since getting his Synthesis App Michael had made sure to train with his Pokemon properly, always hesitant on whether he was ready to fully take on an actual battle, however he was sure now that he wanted to give it a try even if it would be hard for him. "Well, might as well get going," he said as he grabbed his phone and turned towards his three Pokemon, who all nodded in agreement before going into their pokeballs.

OOC:

Okay so I finally started this...yeah it took a while >.< this Lumiose City is kind of futuristic btw but for now just have your character starting the day off and whatnot as a way to introduce them.

Aria herself entered the city's gates, followed by an intimidating Lucario. Walking beside her, the Aura Pokemon sent a shudder-inducing glare in anyone's direction that dared to approach the rather petite trainer. The strawberry blonde teenager simply chuckled at this, shoving her partner in a playful manner. Turquoise eyes met crimson ones, as Aria smiled up at the bipedal canine, reaching up to rub his head.

"You don't need to be so overprotective sometimes, you know." She scolded, but her tone was slightly amused. The Lucario gave a slight scoff, and the two were once more walking besides one of Lumiose's various river canals.

Lumiose City was always Mela's favorite place to visit. The sheer number of places where she could shop and get the things she wanted for her battles never ceased to amaze her. This time, she'd gone into a place to get her Pokemon checked up on. The physician looked her Typhlosion up and down for a moment, before giving her a smile. "As healthy as ever, Mela."

"Thank you," she rubbed the fire-type on the head, earning a smirk from the creature.

Michael was able to finish getting ready, grabbing all of his supplies as he headed down his apartment building. As he made his way outside of the building though he spotted a girl walking with a Lucario, causing him to look over in curiosity. "Oh wow," he said to himself in surprise as he looked at the Pokemon and its trainer. "That Pokemon looks strong."

Aria glanced past her partner, noticing Michael standing not too far from where the two of them stood. Waving at him, the teenager sauntered over to the other Warrior with a kind smile on her face.

"Hey there," she greeted as her Lucario slowly caught up with his trainer, studying Michael with an uncertain expression.

CJ splashed water onto his face, rubbing sleep from his eyes. Pro-tip, do not stay up until 2 AM watching videos of Warriors fighting, thought CJ, I'll have to pick up an energy drink. CJ brushed his teeth, took a shower, threw on a light gray, v-neck t-shirt and black jeans, and walked out the front door of his cozy apartment. As he exited though, he grabbed a thin brown bandolier lined with six pokeballs and put it on. Next door to his apartment complex was a small convenience store which CJ frequented. as he entered the door a sweet old lady welcomed CJ with a smile.

"How are you today CJ?" asked the elderly lady.

"Oh just fine," said CJ, flashing a smile. "How's your husband doing?" The small talk continued as CJ grabbed an energy drink, some treats for his pokemon, and a few other assorted things he needed. After he paid for everything and left the store, he stuck a single earbud in one of his ears, turned on his favorite music, and began his daily walk.

In a airport in northern Luminose, a black private jet marked with a spiral galaxy landed on a unoccupied tarmac, having flown in from the Hoenn region's Lilycove airport.

Inside it was Animus Celestecuerpo, waking himself up from a powerful nap with black coffee.

"[Welcome, Sir Celestecuerpo, to Luminose City.]" Animus turned to the source of the voice, which was his literal old maid Penny Roux, a Eastern Kalosian (judging from the dialect) woman who was his gentleman's gentlewoman to accompany Animus' gentleman's gentleman, but said butler, Jaune, a Unovanite who hails from Castelia, was on sick leave.

"[Thank you, Penny. Is everything arranged?]" Animus asked in French as he picked up his Self-Made Man jacket and other effects and began putting them on.

"[All taken care of. I assume you studied before you slept?]" Penny asked, a wry look on her face.

"[I have, mom. Pokémon are very fascinating.]" Animus said with heavy sarcasm as he drank the last of his black coffee, picking up his book, a heavy tome titled, "The Updated Pokémon Encyclopedia, Vol. 6".

"[Considering that is the opposite of a light read, I believe you.]" Penny said as Animus collected his luggage and stepped out of the plane, with Penny dutifully following.

In a baggage terminal in the same airport, Touko Kenshin was with her Scyther Murakumo waited for their luggage to arrive, having arrived from a Johto-departing flight. Children pointed towards the tall blonde who radiated a cool aura, for she had an eyepatch and a scar extending beyond the borders of the eyepatch, only for their mothers to start lightly scolding them for pointing at her.

Murakumo didn't mind the children's attention, as they were less likely to sling insults. As per usual, Murakumo's blade arm was in a sheath to prevent an incident, as was typical of a Scyther.

Both trainer and Mantis Pokémon perked up when the carousel started moving.

"Oh...hello," Michael replied, slightly startled. 'Sorry, I didn't mean to stare too hard," he apologized, still glancing at her Lucario, though now it was mostly cause it was looking back at him, before shifting to Aria. "I was just noticing that your Lucario seems really well trained," he stated, smiling at her. "I'm Michael, it's nice to meet you," he stretched out his hand, noticing that his phone seemed to be buzzing.

"Don't mind his glaring, he's just a bit stingy with those he doesn't trust. It's nice to meet you, Michael - my name is Aria." She chuckled a bit, elbowing the Aura Pokémon playfully. "Be nice, or else." She then gave the Lucario a fierce look, and he flinched a little, reluctantly holding out a paw to Michael.

"Yes, you'd be correct. If you'd like, I could introduce you to the rest of my team?" Aria offered with a nervous chuckle. "I promise they're not as ill-tempered as my Lucario."

"Oh I wouldn't mind giving them a look too," Michael replied, seeming a bit eager before he felt his phone buzzing once more. "Though I should really get to school now that I remember," he pointed out with a groan as he took out his phone. "Oh, why don't we meet up in Prism Tower later? I assume you were going there too if you're a Warrior?"

"That sounds like a good plan," Aria smiled to the other Warrior, taking out a Dusk Ball. She tossed into the air, revealing a blue-eyed Beheeyem. Once her Lucario was returned yo his own capsule, she ordered the psychic type to used Teleport; she and the terracotta-colored Pokémon vanished in a violet light.

"All right, I'll see you here," Michael replied politely before waving at Aria and turning around to walk off.

That afternoon after leaving school Michael made his way to Prism Tower. The tower gleamed brightl with the light of the sun as multiple trains passed through the center of it where a small station had been set up. Michael walked out of the train, looking around in awe ashe stepped into the station. It was finally his first time in the tower since becoming a Warrior like his sister and father.

"Finally here huh?" Michael muttered to himself, releasing his Chimchar from its pokeball and allowing it to sit on his shoulder. "Let's go Blaze," he smiled, nodding his head at the Chimchar.

As soon as he went into the tower Michael realized just how big th eplace was. Wherever he turned he would see stores selling items or devices and even some restaurants. He was also surrounded by people from all ends, coming and going and talking endlessly.

Of course the thing that grabbed his attention the most was the different screens floating around him, showcasing the battles going on the battlefields scattered around the stadium.

One of those battles involved Aria; she had fused with her Druddigon, her armor consisting of the Pokemon's wings, tail, and claws; many crimson and navy-colored spines covered her skin, not to mention the spiny mask formed from the Cave Pokemon's rugged red face. She took down another Warrior fused with what looked to be Pidgeot, slamming him into the ground with a deadly accurate Dragon Claw. Once it was over, she proceeded to walk around Prism Tower with only her large, intimidating Druddigon trailing beside her.

"Nice moves," Mela said to Aria as she passed by. The girl's battle had been impressive.

"Thank you," Aria quietly said with a kind smile, before wandering back into the crowd. The Druddigon let out a roar, observing Mela with a leer before following the Warrior back into the Tower. The dragon-type soon kept pace with the light blonde teenager, flexing his wings as he absorbed heat from the intense lights above.

Meanwhile, CJ sat on the floor with his back against one of the walls, his Persian laying with it's head on his lap, beginning to doze off letting out a light purr as he scratched it's head. He had watched the fight and after it's end noticed a boy, Michael, looking awestruck. CJ picked himself up off the floor (slightly annoying his Persian in the process) and made his way to the boy. "First time here?" he asked.

Michael caught a glance of Aria's battle in one of the arenas, allowing him to get an idea of where to look for her once he remembered they had promised to meet there. At that moment he noticeed CJ walking over to him. "Oh, yeah it's my first time coming here," he replied, a bit surprised at being talked to so suddenly. "I was actually going to meet someone and was wondering where to ifnd them but I have an idea now."

((Oy vey, moving is hell..))

Camille was hiding an a small clearing, just meditating in a circle of her six Pokemon, Absol, Meowstic, Monferno, Grovyle, Dewott and Togekiss. The young Knight considered this clearing to be her safe haven, and rarely left it unless absolutely necessary for the sole reason of it being the one place people wouldn't and couldn't bother her. It was so well-hidden that no one seemed to know where it was, and she admittedly didn't know where it was in relation to any landmarks. She had a poor sense of direction, and wouldn't rely on the GPS of her reverse-engineered PokeNav, since it would allow people to pinpoint her location, and she didn't want to be found. People had a habit of using her competence in everything she did to her advantage, even people who shouldn't have known how competent she was. Tired of being used, she became a recluse, only appearing when it was to her benefit, and not caring at all about those she didn't like. This way of life had served her well, and she had no plans to deviate from it anytime soon.
