Farfetch'd week has been... Interesting? I was able to get a Shiny Skeledirge on Monday but that was before New Moon Days began. No shinies following that unfortunately.

Also I've been positively Slumbering this week (probably due to the shift in my sleeping patterns.) so I've only gotten Farfetch'd via incense yet. Hopefully it'll show up for me soon naturally.

Actually, I've been enjoying the pace they've been adding Pokemon to the game. I'm almost reluctant to make this post tonight thinking they'll announce another event. But I suppose we're also gearing up for the 2nd anni and hopefully a new island? (God I hope there is a new island.)

I was able to get FA Glaceon this morning while opening my 10 packs and FA Sylveon (regular, not the rainbow edge) through a Wonder Pick. Not bad!! Although my roommate just got the Eevee immersive card just a little while ago!! Its really cute ahhh

Also I'm not sure if I've mentioned here, but I did pull FA Red about a week ago?!?! the Reguris are together finally. wahh

ARC SUIT ETHAN AND SILVER?? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

They were so unexpected!! I DO NOT have the gems for them and I doubt I'll be able to save up enough by the time the new chapter drops on the 17th. But! I'm really excited to see how their chapter of the Arceus Arc plays out. Considering the HGSS protag's history with Arceus in the main series it could be interesting!!

Housekeeping note: I hopefully will be more consistent with posting now as rl obligations and busyness has lightened up a bit!!

Making a slight correction to myself: Farfetch'd is a Slumbering Pokemon. So the fact it wasn't appearing to me for research this week all the more bewildering.

However, I was able to catch one this morning! While I was able to complete all the event missions this morning, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the new dish on Sunday. So I think this event is in the books.

I'm at Old Gold this week because, frankly, I don't really have anywhere else to be. I'm running with Raikou/Ampharos to Berry Blast my way to another Master rank. I feel like I might be a tad behind though as I only woke up to 4 Pokemon this morning for research.

That said, they announced that they'll be adding the Hoenn starters for the 2nd Anni! From the preview, I find Swamperts to be the cutest lol.

Cynthia and Skyla event was an Event! No strong feelings about it, but I think they are hinting at Sinnoh Neo Champs maybe? Please,,, for Me DeNA,,,,,

Honestly this is probably gonna be the only PokeMas update until Huntershipping Ethan and Silver Arc Suits drop lmaoo. I know what I am.

Its Wednesday my dudes!! Its also like... silly season for Pokemon Mobile games, especially with the Presents on the 22nd. Not much to talk about this week!!

Hoenn starters AND Plusle/Minun? I am Charmed.

Although, this prelude event for the 2nd Anni has done so much damage to my ingredients pocket. Even at Old Gold i'm usually in surplus, running with at least 700 ingredients at a time. Now I'm sub-300 and had to swap out Ampharos for Blastoise so I can beef up my ingredients pocket. IIRC Plusle has an ingredient gathering skill that might prove helpful (when paired with Minun probably.) So that would be excellent for Old Gold ngl.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a Good Shiny this week. My roommate has gotten 2 since the time I've moved in with them and I've only managed 1. Aughgh. I need to sleep better ig.

Eevee Grove has yet to be kind to me.

Right now I'm working on getting the FAs for all the Eeveelutions but its been so hard!! I think I've had to Wonder Pick for most of them. And I don't wanna use my hourglasses up because there is probably going to be a new expansion annouced on the 22nd. Gotta save for those... (Please Arceus... I need the Umbreon FA... a crumb perhaps for me??

Oh man a Johto expansion!! For the next few months??? I missed out on getting an Ethan card from the TCG expansion earlier this year so I'm just happy for a second chance at my son wahhh

I finally got Umbreon's FA from a pack this morning!! All I need now is Flareon and I've gotten all the Eeveelutions from EG.

I FINALLY managed to get a shiny for my troubles!! Shiny Eevee no less!! Not sure what or how I'm gonna evolve them. I'd probably choose Umbreon for reasons, especially as its gotten a buff in the last year or so. But perhaps there's another one (that isn't Vaporeon) that I can use...

That said, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to play Expert mode when it rolls out. I think the highest I've hit on Greengrass is M16. That or I guess I get a Vaporeon and seriously amp up my party members.

Also YAAAY new island!! Looking forward to getting Flygon!!

For now, I'm at Cyan trying to raise my food reserves, these last few weeks have wiped me clean lol.

Finally Carmine and Kieran join!! I'm not sure if I'm going to pull them yet but its super exciting to see Terastallization added to the game.

hiya folks! big week for mem here!! you can expect at least two ho-ohs in here!!

So I didn't realize that the Free PokeFair pulls were, a ticketed thing. I got three tickets and pulled Sygna Suit Morty and Lucas here. Also Cynthia but I forgot to screenshot it lol.

I also tried pulling for AS Silver and Ethan along with NC Silver, but no dice. I'm not like, super disappointed since I already have Sygna Suit Ethan. But I did get a bunch of upgrades to some 5-star units so that's nice.

Well, I'm a little behind for the anni next month in terms of gem count, but I should be fine? I'm not really expecting anything too crazy for it ngl.

I was really excited that this might have been the first time I've hit 2 mil, but it turns out I already hit 2 mil at Taupe Hollow. That said, 2 mil at OGPP is not terrible so I am pretty happy about this all things considered!

Berry bombing has been really working out for me as of late. Its a pretty good strategy and I'm gonna try to use it more frequently. I got a pretty good Treeko that I'm raising to be a Berry Bomber at Lapis, so that's where I'll be hanging out this week.

That said, other than the return of the Legendary Beasts next month, I'm not too excited about Sleep atm. I'm really looking forward to Amber Canyon though! For now I'll be focusing my efforts on Lapis between the beasts lol.

The fixes to the trading feature has been sooooo good! With it I was able to finish up Eevee Grove this morning (with Dragonite EX) and I'm pretty happy about that.

Really interesting that they announced Megas at Worlds last night. I mean, its not shocking that they are going all in on Megas with PLZA and all. I thought they were going to announce the next expansion instead of skipping to the October/November expansion lol. But its definitely something to look forward too!!

So Kieran dropped this morning.

And ngl, they didn't have me in the first half. I was a little disappointed that Kieran was sort of back to being is meek, mild self. Like where is your confidence!! You're a really good trainer Kieran!! No need to make yourself so small.

Which is why, y'know, you gotta bring in the Big Guns (re: Blue. You gotta bring in Blue.)

Does this imply that Blue has never beaten Red in the Master's universe? Interesting.

This convo between Kieran and Blue was not something I thought I needed but it was really good!! I think Kieran getting a confidence boost from the other rivals was a really nice touch.

Also really liked that Juliana couldn't figure out Sync Terastallization and asked Kieran for help with it... ;u; all and all a very sweet event!!

Good morning folks!

I kind of got distracted there during the PokeMas 6th anni. But it sure was alot!

Anyway I just have a few updates this morning:

Spoiler: Pokemon Sleep: AKA they LOVE johto, they LOVE me

I feel like this is the reason why Pokemon Sleep continues to be my favorite mobile game, it never fails to impress me what they can do to a silly little sleep tracker app.

The Legendary Beast event is happening now, and you're probably wondering "Hey mem, why do you care, you already have 'em" and you're right! I don't think my main goal of this week is to capture the legendary beasts, but y'know. Vibe. Farm for free Great Balls/Premier Balls(?)

And the game looks gorgeous in fall colors, and the remix this week is the Burned Tower mixed with Ecruteak City and the Beasts' battle theme. Auggh Select Button/ILCA love me and my johto bias. The LOVE me.

Apparently there are also overlays at Taupe, Lapis and OGPP. But I'm gonna stick to GG for this event and attempt to berry bomb my way into Expert mode lol.

They added Ethan in as a variety scout today for the release of the new TCG expansion in Japan. Also it happens to be the 15th anni of HGSS's release stateside. I'm gonna pull him. I have to.

Me and Morty shaking hands on Ho-Oh continuing to elude us. (i know about his sync pair with shiny ho-oh sssh)

I won't be trying to pull Ethan again, but I hope this illustrates how difficult it is to pull characters as a f2p. I spent 9,000 gems and got almost nothing of value. aughauhg.

So remember our dear friend Ethan and Ho-Oh? From back in March? That was nearly 6 months ago. We've already had another Ethan alt that we have tragically missed due to our F2P nature.

And I stand by keeping this game F2P. I am like the CEO of Costco talking about the $1.50 Hot Dog in my conviction to keep playing these games for free.

Anyway Ethan and Ho-Oh came home this morning through the Anni Ticket scout, and I failed to notice because I honestly thought I just leveled up Ethan and Typhlosion again.

Anyway, one cannot have too many Ho-Ohs, as this #1 fan of the fire chicken will profess.

I also pulled Leon and Eternatus as well, and that felt a little special LOL.

And if you're wondering: Yes I did pull for Anni Red,

Yes, I am broke, but I wasn't gonna pull for the others or Volo anyway. So this gives me enough time to scrimp and save for what they have planned for the Halloween event next month wtf?? its already almost halloween?? jeez i lost track of time this year!!

Not a lot of updates but I can talk about Sleep and Masters for a bit~

The Volo storyline is interesting? He's like so desperate for Arceus' attention and yet every time Arceus senpai fails to notice lol.

Giratina not being incredibly pleased that Cynthia decided to team up with Arceus and switching to Volo's side was a really fun twist though. Honestly I thought the Arceus arc would end with everyone teaming up against Volo, instead it only seems like its the beginning.

And Rei and Lucas being in the same room but not in the same frame is a bit hilarious to me. They should meet actually lol. Actually I wonder if they're finally setting up for Sinnoh Neo Champs?? After all of this time??

Also I'm not pulling for Volo lol, I don't particularly feel strongly about this character and there are the Autumn units out next month that I might be more interested in.

We finally hit Master 18 on Greengrass!! Which means I can finally play expert mode at GG!!

But not this week, I wanna see if I can hit Master 20 with the beefed up Snorlax they start you off with this week. (It was already Master 4 when I started this week, its already Master 7. I'm not really expecting to, but lets see~

I was far more keysmashy on tumblr about this, but since this is a proper blog i'll explain how i got AS Green EX f2p

1) Look up what his AS looks like EX because you're curious and, ngl they tend be better than the original or worse, and usually for AS they've been better
2) Notice the fucking,,, red lining.
3) Blackout for 2 minutes and somehow the app is open on your phone
4) Realize you had a bunch of Move Candies from that error compensation the other day. Give them all to Green. Its Halloween so he deserves a treat.
5) Trade in some Strike Candies for a Strike Roll Cake. Give that to Green too. Its Halloween dammit and we're a Full Candy Bar House.
6) You also have some of these Champion's Spirits piled away, you never use them because you never really upgrade anyone this far on purpose. You, fckin bless Green with Spirit on this hallows eve.
