Hey. i was just thinking about where gamefreak should take pokemon. I think a game for the wii would be nice. once the pokemon comes out of the pokeball, you can control its movement and its attacks. Thoughts??

This game doesn't sound that exciting actually :|

What you basically have is Smash Bros.

I'm sure this is news to you OP, but plenty of people have been suggesting a Pokemon fighting game since RB.

well, Game Freak said they would not create a wii pokemon game unless there was a good reason to. They said they create the games the way they do so thay are on a mobile gaming device so you can carry it aroud, trade with friends, battle with them and so on.

I agree with PDL here.

IMO, the whole taking direct control of even movement wouldn't even follow what Pokemon is. A more interesting game (to me) would be something like Lifeline for PS2, but with better responsive control. Wouldn't even have to be voice controlled.

Heck, then maybe Speed could control how fast a Pokemon could dodge attacks when you tell it too, or how fast it can close in...

But meh, I just think it would be more interesting, not necessarily better ^^

a huge factor in the pokemon games is that you don't necessarily need a lot of skill to play them; you just have to have a mind for the strategies involved. this game you propose eliminates that strategy, and leaves you with another beat 'em up.
