I heard somewhere that when you play the GBA Pokemon games on the DS there's a chance that your save will get erased. How true is this? Please do explain, because i want to buy a DS Lite.

Um, no.

It was a bug in Pokemon MD Blue that if you played it with any game besides MD Red in the GBA slot, it would erase it.

This was fixed, and probably will be for the US version as well.

There was a glitch in the first printings of Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon Blue that caused the save games of the Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen to be erased if they were in the GBA slot when Mysterious Dungeon Blue was looking for Mysterious Dungeon Red to link up with.

The games were recalled, reprinted and no longer have this problem. It doesn't apply to any other games.

well i dont think it really matters anymore. unless someone didn't send theirs back. -_-
