I was just wondering which versions of the games people have played and finished? And which you enjoyed the most.
I must say I have played and finshed all so far as far as the GB/GBA versions go (as I am sure a lot of you have). Unfortunatly I have never been able to fill the Pokedex on any of the game, legit anyway. Never played the GC games. I currently only own Emerald and was not overly impressed when I started it. But the more I played it the more I found that it was a very good version. I think that it is a pretty game with lots of things to do. I used to like Yellow as my favourite and wish that they had done a remake of that with Leafgreen and Firered. But there we go, don't get everything. My favourite starter has to be Cynderquil! Its so cute and loveable! I can't wait to be able to make it a member of my D/P team!

i enjoyed Crystal

i know the most i have ever got was 240 out of 251 in Crystal

so i have 210 Pokemon in Emerald

i never try to complete my Pokedex,i emphasize on training them

Between myself and my brother, we have all of the main series. I claim the first version every time, he claims the second, and I play the third.

I have a complete hoenn dex in Emerald. Now I'm just waiting on my friend to get back from his holiday so he can trade me a few more so I can have a complete national dex with Deoxys (Legit), Mew (Legit) and Celebi (Not-so-legit.)

I've never gotten a full dex, but I have thoroughly played Blue, Silver, Sapphire and Emerald several times each. I own Yellow, Crystal and more recently, Red, but they haven't gotten a lot of playtime.

Yellow: Beat it with complete pokedex and level 100 team twice, because the first version was deleted. Don't pull out the cartridge while saving, kids.
Gold: Beat with a complete pokedex and two level 100 teams.
Crystal: Beat it, no complete pokedex but about 26 pokemon at level 50 or above.
Sapphire: Beat it, no complete pokedex but a level 100 team.
Ruby: Beat it, complete pokedex and 2 level 100 teams.

I've played every version though. I never seriously played Red or Blue, just kind of used them to get pokemon for yellow. Silver I don't think I ever beat the elite four, but I was mainly playing that one for fun and was trying a team of only Dark and Electric types. I wound up with a second Sapphire version that I tried training the same two types and that never got to the elite four either. I got bored with Emerald before Mossdeep, but I may pick those up again. For FireRed I have a team around level 60, and haven't beaten the second round of the Elite Four yet. Same for LeafGreen, though I've got about half the pokedex there that I'm also working on.

I always got the versions that weren't the most popular with my friends, just to be different.
I have:
Blue, which I have beaten the Elite Four god knows how many times on.
Silver, which I have a complete Pokedex on.
Sapphire, which I am pretty rubbish on.
Leaf Green, which I have a near complete Pokedex on.

I have played:

Red, Yellow,
Gold, Silver, Crystal,
Ruby and Emerald

I have thoroughly played each of those games, but I have never had a complete Pokédex (I don't have anyone to trade with).

I've completed all of them, but I usually focus on one game in the set to try and get a complete PokeDex (which I've never done). The ones I've focused most on are Yellow (my first Pokemon game), Crystal, FireRed and Emerald. The other games I used to trade to my main game, for the most part.
