GameStop to give away Deoxys: Events to be held June 20-22, 27-29

GameStop stores in the United States will give away Deoxys to visitors with Pokémon Diamond or Pearl games the weekends of June 20-22 and 27-29, according to promotional material distributed to stores.

I'll have to start soft resetting my Darkrai now, and trade away the extra one on my friend's cart.
 
Soft-resetting? I thought none of the recent promotional Pokemon were given away by activating their in-game events.
 
Yeah, but if you don't pick them up, you can soft reset for better stats, natures, and shiny status (if you want it).
 
This is cool, I love Deoxys. There's a ton of Gamestops around here, so I'll be sure to get one.
 
I wonder if Nintendo is switching companies when it comes to event pokemon or just adding new places to get them.I'm hopping for the ladder. If they do switch I will have to travel a little farther now to get one.

Just realized we're probably getting this Deoxys because Japanese audiences got one for movie 10.

Wonder if it'll have the same moveset and such as that one?
 
Finally, Now all I need are Celebii and Jirachi.
 
I wonder if this event will have a specific hours for which you can receive it

Dang, I'm at summer camp. My younger siblings also play the games, though, so I'll just get them to take my DS and get it on my game. This just leaves Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi, and Mew's available on Pokemon Ranch.

You can get Celebi and Jirachi with the Japanese and English Colosseum Bonus Disks, Respectivley.
 
YES!!!!!!!!! This is the event I've been dreaming of. I had Deoxys on my Pokemon Leafgreen a while back, but I lost it at summer camp, and I've been heartbroken about it ever since. I almost considered putting my Darkrai on the GTS just so I can have another Deoxys back on my side. There's a Game Stop right near my friend's house, so I can head over there. I can't wait! Deoxys, I'm coming!
