What is your favourite console labtop/P.C., Xbox 360, Ps3, Ps2, Wii, other.
My favorite is Xbox 360.

My favorite is the Nintendo 64. This might sound odd, but I love the graphics. Second would be Gamecube and then the Playstation 2.

N64... best graphics (not at all most sophisticated though) and some of the best games out there.

I saw a major downfall in gaming after the days of N64.

Except DS is nice.

I'm really tempted to say the Mega Drive, since it's the console I played most in my younger years, but nah. I only ever really bought and played Sonic on the thing, bar a few exceptions like Ristar and Earthworm Jim.

I'd say the SNES is the console that had the most extensive library of games I've enjoyed, and it helps that it's got key series like Mario, DK and Kirby to it's name. To this day, I'm still occasionally stumbling across the names of games I put off for years or have never actually heard of, giving them a go and really enjoying them. Would you believe I only discovered Chrono Trigger and finally bothered with Megaman X a year ago? Crazy.

I see that most of the people like the nintendo 64.

Gamecube, and then the 64 comes in a close second.

My favorite console that games are still being made for is the 360 and PC. I'm a huge PC modder ^.^

I prefer PC for gaming. There are more benefits on a PC than a Console.
But my favorite console would be the Xbox 360 because of Halo.

Nice. What games do you actually mod for?

My favorite console would be the PS2. It has the largest game library as of now and the first game system I bought with my own money. Ah the sweet memories. ^^

When you (and other people) say that, what exactly do you mean?
Theoretically I'd say that that's true, but in my personal experience not many games actually run all that well on PCs / computers, even if the computer is pretty up-to-date. It's as if you need to have those fancy "gaming PCs" to run stuff properly.
Consoles don't have that problem... they are made for the purpose of gaming, and the games are made for the purpose of running properly on them. There is never a game that runs slow or lags on a console (except maybe online games... but I'm specifically refering to regular games designed for the console with no other requirements)

Haha what games do you mod. Waw zombies? Skyrim? Me and finalsynfrey are courious.

The Game Boy Advance. This brings back so many memories of my childhood. Then I got to relive those memories thanks to the Ambassador Program.

Gaming PCs are quite expensive, but once you have that all up and running, throw any game at It, max out those settings, you get a good gaming experience. Trust me, graphics are far day and night better than a Console can do. I know graphics isn't the best thing to compare about, but console games cannot run native HD. They basically scaled to 720p or 1080p, which is nothing good compared to native.

On a PC, you can use a Xbox 360, PS3, third party controllers. So your not always stuck with the Keyboard and Mouse. Something you can't do on a Console.

Modding. The number one thing PC Gaming is known for. Name me a Console game that can be modded? NONE. There are tons of PC Games that support Modding.
(Minecraft, Team Fortress, Grand Theft Auto, Counter Strike, Doom, Halo CE, Skyrim, etc). Modding benefits because It adds things to the gameplay that can't be played regularly.

Your sentence on "Consoles don't have that problem... they are made for the purpose of gaming, and the games are made for the purpose of running properly on them. There is never a game that runs slow or lags on a console"

That's because the games are optimized for their specific counterparts (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii). PC games can't be fully optimized because Hardware is different for everyone. But can be optimized through video drivers (AMD / Nvidia). If a game never lags on a Console, then why was Skyrim lagging for PS3 users? This also is noticeable on the Xbox 360 as well. Then they had to release a patch to tone the graphics to improve Frame Rates. Halo: Reach is another game that also drops FPS, mainly on Forge World (via Split Screen). MW3 was also experiencing FPS drops on release week (PS3 users).

If your games are lagging on a PC, just lower the graphics settings and the Frame Rates will improve. Its not gonna look fantastic and all, but your still getting the content that the developers put on, just not on fancy graphics. If you have the Hardware, just max out the settings as much as you want.

PC games can run at 60 FPS and higher, while Consoles only run at 30 FPS (except Call of Duty, which is the only game that runs at 60 FPS due to old graphics engine).

I'm not bashing on Consoles for the most part, I'm saying the facts that PC has more benefits than a Console. I understand how expensive It is for a Gaming Rig, but the experience is just better once you finished building It. I personally built my own computer (using It to type now). I use It for Gaming as well as Video Editing. And in order to achieve the right performance when building a PC is getting the right Hardware that balances It. Otherwise, getting mismatched Hardware can be a problem.

I'm addicted to my DS, not to mention it can also play Gameboy games.

Probably Ps2. It has a lot of good games and is the console I get the most fun out of from the ones I have so far.
