How do you view Gardevoir? Is that a dress that it wears, or what? What are those red things coming out of its chest and back? What color are its legs? Does it wear ballerina slippers? This is the thread to discuss what you think about Gardevoir.

My own take is that the white stuff hanging down that gives the look of a dress is really a thin layer of skin (sort of like that of a flying squirrel's gliders or bat wing) This skin could provide warmth, or something else that I am not thinking of.

I think the red things on its chest and back are a sort of sensory organ sticking out (probably fleshy in texture, maybe the texture of your heel or something). Since it is in the "emotion" group, the red "sensory organs" might either allow it to receive mental waves of what people are feeling, or it might be used to augment its own psychic attacks (like the "horns" of Kirlia are said to do).

Also, how many fingers do they have? I'd say three or four, but it is hard to tell. I think that its legs are either greeen or white, and that what looks like "slippers", is really just different colored "skin".

That brings up another point. I believe that the green stuff on its head is hair, and has the texture, etc. of human hair. As to the rest of it's body, the white skin that looks like a "dress" is covered in very fine white hairs (closer to the very fine "fur" of a monkey than the hair that humans have across their body).

I have found a few artist renditions that I really like. Here is what I think the Gardevoir (and previous forms) look like: Deviant Art Gardevoir pic Only instead of the hair they have there, I think it is much closer to the hair in this pic: Another Gardevoir pic

Well, I've rambled enough. What are your views?

Well, I know for a fact that Gardevoir's legs are long, skinny and entirely white. It doesn't even feet (in the sense of a human at least). This is why Pokedex info states that "it supports itself with psychic power". And Gardevoir has 3 fingers.

Hmm, Garde, eh?

All I know is that I used to be obsessed with her "younger sister". But after a while I kinda forgot the whole line existed.

Still, I'd prefer her to Alakazam (even Gallade or whoever), aestically speaking. Then again, it's always aestically speaking with me.

Meh, I don't care for Gardevoir.

Too 'elegant" for me personally, I'd take Hypno or Alakazam for a psychic.

I'm just curious about male Kirlia and Gardevoir.

Are their sprites any different in D/P? (if they have m/f sprites for that line).

Otherwise, we may have the only crossdressing Pokemon out there.

Female Machamp says hi.

I think it has the Ralts kind of legs with it's skirt and just floats.

They're extremely effeminate bishounen with kilts and robes.

There. I settled it.

I'm have had way too many Gardevoirs in my party, everyone i know wants me to catch a bunch of Ralts and evolve them to Gardevoir so I can give them a fully trained Gardevoir (made a good party from it, traded pokemon make my current party). I always thought it was a dress and the red thing was a psychic wave detector thing.

actually almost every new or old pokemon that is coming or came is made by children or adults and sent to them who makes everything that is *pokemon* so nobody do know what or why the pokemon is like that... But we can think that from the evoloution from Ralts to Gardevoir has something to do with the red thing... the clothes is only there to make them fancy or special. And i think that they will begin making differences of pokemon by their sex. like a they have begun on pikachu and wooper. Female pikachu's tail is going in to a \/ mark instead like a _ line in the top of the tail and its more slim. Female wooper has only got one | on their ears or branches whatever it is. But now they stick into the abilities and stats
