Gauging interest in a new Wiki partnership.

Hello, I'm a sysop from StrategyWiki.org. StrategyWiki is a wiki site dedicated to providing readers with walkthroughs and strategic information about any video game created. We were discussing the fact that we don't have an established Pokedex, and I started to do some research and found Bulbapedia. Rather than recreating a whole new Pokedex from scratch just for StrategyWiki, I thought it would be nice to partner up with a site that had a great Pokedex. We in turn could offer complete walkthroughs for each game. I've been talking it over with some of our members, but before we come to any decisions, I wanted to see how you guys would feel about it. Basically, we would link to your site every time that we mention a Pokemon, and you could link to our walkthroughs whenever you mention a game. At least, that's one idea, but it would work out any number of ways. Truth be told, we don't exactly have elaborate walkthroughs for Pokemon at the moment, but perhaps a partnership would generate interest.

Do the administrators of Bulbapedia think this would be a nice idea? Please give StrategyWiki.org a visit and let me know what you think. Thank you very much.
 
The only slight, workable issue I see is that you're under the GNU license, while Bulbapedia is Creative Commons. Other than that, I'm intrigued.
 
There won't be much of a problem if there is not much cross-incorporation of text. That is to say... I am assuming this partnership is essentially just linking to each other's site for specialised information?
 
Zhen is correct, I'm just talking about each site linking to the other. StrategyWiki is a lot newer than Bulbapedia, but we're growing at an incredible rate, and I know that more than a few authors have plans to create Wiki walkthroughs for the various Pokemon games. Likewise, if there are any wiki authors who wish to contribute to the walkthrough, they can benefit from the expanding support that we're putting in place to make walkthrough creation easier.
