Hello fellow Pokemon Trainers! Figured I might as well introduce myself here.

I'm 27, male, Australian. I've been a playing Pokemon ever since the good ol' days of Pokemon Red on the Gameboy "Brick". I did however take a lengthy hiatus from the video games after Gen 2 (I played Gold and Crystal, for those of you wondering), dabbled in a little bit of Gen 3, and only recently returned with Gen 5 in Black 2. Safe to say, I missed out on the crux of competitive play as I had skipped over the biggest innovation in Pokemon video gaming.

Last month, after winning a competition held by Nintendo Australia, I competed in the Australian VGC Nationals, and was subsequently knocked out in Round 1. :D Good times. Being an avid Eeveelution fan, it was probably due to my stubbornness in using a team of Eeveelutions which got me oh so far in the competition... :D

As you can imagine, I am super hyped about X/Y and especially Sylveon! YOU WILL BE MINE!

Hello DarkSUmbreon :) Sorry you lost that battle but at least you played with Pokemon you like. I don't care for competitive myself much because I like using whatever I want. Sylveon is super cute as well, I can't wait to have one of my own, I plan to use it or another Fairy type on one of my teams(I've pre ordered both games) Well I hope you'll have a great time here, if you want, feel free to check out the Pokemon X/Y section here to discuss those games. Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'll definitely do my best to contribute in some way to the forum. You'll probably see me inhabiting the X/Y and B2/W2 forums, but I'll see what else there is to explore here.
