Gelato Pique’s expansive new Pokémon Sleep loungewear collab coming to retailers across Japan and online in the US

Gelato Pique, the Japanese loungewear retailer that launched their first Pokémon Sleep collection shortly after the app’s launch last year, is back with a second round of cozy apparel in an even larger collab. The new 43-piece collection features men’s, women’s, kids’, and infant apparel, plus accessories and bedding. It will be available at Gelato Pique, MASH, and Usagi stores across Japan on July 26th, as well at Gelato Pique, MASH, and Usagi’s websites, and Gelato Pique’s US website. Customers hoping to get the collection at Gelato Pique stores on the launch date will need to make a reservation to avoid overcrowding, and reservations open July 17th at noon local time.

This second Pokémon Sleep collab will have two kinds of apparel, the knit series and the “cut-and-sew” series. The knit series features Eevee and Ditto pajama sets in all four size categories in Gelato Pique’s signature cozy fabric. The women’s collection gets an extra set themed after Slowpoke. Women’s sets come in at ¥17,820 ($112.90 USD), men’s at ¥19,140 ($121.26 USD), kids’ at ¥14,960 ($94.78 USD), and infant onesies at ￥9,680 ($44.22 USD).

The cut-and-sew series has a wider variety of Pokémon designs available in women’s sizes, with sets featuring Charizard, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Eevee, Snorlax, and Togepi for ¥10,890 ($68.99 USD) each. Men’s sizes get only Eevee and Snorlax for ¥11,880 ($75.26 USD), while kids’ and infant sizes come in the Pikachu, Eevee, and Snorlax designs for ¥8,800 ($55.75 USD) and ¥7,920 ($50.18 USD) respectively.

Slowpoke, Ditto, and Eevee hairbands will be available for ¥3,410 ($21.60 USD) each, with the same Pokémon featured as slippers for ¥5,390 ($34.15 USD). Six varieties of makeup pouches and hand towels will feature for ¥5,390 ($34.15 USD) and ¥4,950 ($31.36 USD) respectively. A few items that are new and unique to this round of the Pokémon Sleep collab are the 3-piece twin sheet set in a Pikachu print for ¥17,820 ($112.90 USD) and a Pikachu-shaped pillow, again in Gelato Pique’s hallmark fluffy fabric for ¥11,880 ($75.26 USD). Previews of the entire collection are available on Gelato Pique’s website. Only select pieces from the first Pokémon Sleep collab were available via Gelato Pique’s US website, so the entire collection may not be available internationally.
