Much to everyone's shock, they dropped the day and night feature from Ruby and Sapphire. For consistency's sake, do you think they'll eliminate night from the anime too?

If Ash doesn't age it is just like one big long day anyway so??

Kids shouldn't be out after dark anyway, so they'll be teaching an important life lesson.

The introduction of abilities is likely to change the way some Pokemon are portrayed. For example, we now know that Magnemite can't actually float, since it doesn't have the Levitate ability. Therefore the anime will likely reflect this by having Magnemite walk on its magnets like a crab in any future appearances.

Well the Gen I games didn't have night either - and the anime didn't take that into account then. It was also in colour, much to my shock when I got Pokemon Blue back home!

Never again.

I do not have proof but surely they would have had an episode with his birthday or something?

Ash is ignorant of all things reproductive biology. I think the concept of a "birth" day would just warp his mind.

Gen 3 mechanics... The best I can see outta it is Abilities! The starters and Pikachu, at least. Static will really justify its uberized status.

I heard they totally redid these things called Effort Valuables and Individual Valuables. I could see Brock breeding Pokemon for perfect IVs.

Ash will probably double battle everyone like in the gamecube game
