Gen V RNGr

Well if you want a in depth explanation google it. but its using software to manipulate the odds of getting a shiny .

Its been a highly controversial subject but due to the ffact your not inputting data into the system so its more of a asshole loophole(def of hacking) its majorly not considered hacking but some people feel (probly you) that since its not days worth of effort its not legit.

Altered Data is Altered Data. Still, I'm prone to argue about these kinds of things. If your interested, PM me. I wont continue it here.

It's not the data that's altered in RNG processes, rather, the time of collection is set to a specific value. So it's beating the clock... with a stick.

Vixana... this is the second time...

Regardless. I'm dedicated to not utilizing 3rd source software/hardware to progress.

One original DS, one DSi, one 3DS, and a copy of every Pokemon game pak is all I need.

Using RNG Reporter is as hack as using an IV calculator is.

What, in my opinion, means it isn't any hack.

But what does the thread author need?

Oh please, just stop whining. If you write down stats in notepad you're using 3rd party software. If you calculate IVs online you're using 3rd party software...

That you consider the use of an AR, GS, etc as hacking, I understand. In fact, I do too.

All you do when RNGing, however, is using the predictable nature of the random number generator in a favorable way. You'll get two legit parents, they'll produce a legit egg, and the only difference is that you pick it up at a pre-determined moment rather than a random moment.

My understanding is that as of now, Gen 5 RNG for shinies hasn't been figured out yet.
