Good thread idea, considering that this is a Pokemon forum.
As for my favorite series, that would be Fire Emblem. <3 Second is Zelda and Mario (I used to prefer Mario, but Skyward Sword brought my old love for Zelda back, so I like both series equally now), then Smash Bros., then Pokemon. Not that Pokemon is bad, I just don't think it's as cool as any of the other Nintendo games I've played.

My favorite Nintendo series are Pokemon, MOTHER, and Paper Mario (though I haven't played Super Paper Mario). I'm not the biggest Zelda fan, but I do like Link to the Past, Wind Waker, and Minish Cap. Out of the main Pokemon games, I can say I like every game I have. With MOTHER, I like all three games, and wish they brought them all out of Japan.
I really want to play a game in which you go around doing errands, sort of like in Wind Waker's Windfall Island. My favorite thing to do in the GCN Animal Crossing, aside from fishing, is running errands for the townsfolk. I love that Animal Crossing, and consider it one of my favorite games, yet Animal Crossing is only my fourth favorite Nintendo series, above Zelda. I felt Wild World removed almost everything I loved about the GameCube game, most of all those fetch-quest errands, which I could spend all day doing.
