Generation 2024 - a sequel to the first one.

Since everybody seems to be posting sequel threads here, I might as well announce mine too. It's been in my signature for I don't know how long now, but this is a thread for whether anybody has ideas for the future stories.

And here's the summary:

Nathan Loreley, son of Professor Loreley, is afraid of dragons. When he goes on his Pokemon adventure, he will have to learn to get rid of this fear if he wants to succeed. Follow him on his adventure through the Johto region, as he learns to appreciate dragons for what they are.

COMING SOON (Spring 2011)

And yes, this second one will include things from Isshu and BW.

Any suggestions? Ramblings about how I should concentrate on completing the first one first?

Is it going to be a sequel in the sense that it is a few years after and set in the same universe (in the way that DPPt are a sequel to FRLG) or is it an actual, direct sequel (in the way that GSC are a sequel to RBY)?

I ask because I think you're a very good writer but I don't realistically see myself catching up with 2021 and I'd quite like to read this.

Hmm... actually, I have not seen any of your works yet. How about this? It might be a good starting point. Maybe I'll try to read through this time around.

As for the last one, note that rushed endings will do you no good.

I suggest you focus on 2021 first but do not rush to get your new fic out. That tends to result in dramatically lowererd quality.

On a side note, can there be more super-powered cosplay contests and can the costumes serve some sort of plot role?

It's a direct sequel in the GSC sense. But the next one will be a sequel in the RSE sense. And the fourth one will be a sequel in the DPPt sense.

And the fifth one (if I ever get there) will be a sequel in the BW sense.

Well, you'll have pretty long to wait, so you can take your time catching up. ^_^

I won't. Don't worry - the planned release date of the first chapter is now way past January.
