Contest Gengar Vs. Aerodactyl

One is a powerful special sweeper, the other is a powerful normal sweeper.

Aerodactyl is faster but Gengar hits harder.

Both have very good moves.

Both are two of the very best leads.

I got one of both and can't decide which one to use.

They're both purple, so I can't make up my mind either. But maybe Gengar, because a prettyer color.

Gengar also has unique typing. Ghost/Poison is only shared by it's evolutionary family. No other Pokemon has the type.

Wow, they were even yesterday. Still stuck even today.

I guess I'll use Aerodactyl as my lead. He doesn't have as much killing power, but is a better lead for other reasons.

They both have brilliant movepools.
They both have brilliant designs.
They both came from the same Generation but I saw Gengar years before Aerodactyl (I had no idea what to do with that Old Amber) so Gengar's winning narrowly.
Morty's Gengar was once impregnable due to the fact I had an underlevelled Bayleef and nothing else. So they're tied now.

It's going to have to come down to typing. I love Flying but I don't like Rock. I cannot get enough of Ghost or Poison. So, narrowly, Gengar wins. Aerodactyl's still awesome, though.
