Anyone one else like it? I've seen the first 25 episodes and read the fifth volume of the manga. It's good.

I'm hopefully getting the manga tomorrow [like I mentioned on MSN =P] and I don't doubt it's going to be good. I remember hearing about it from a review in Animerica magazine. I think they gave it 5 stars. XD

I used to watch Get Backers until my mom cancel Anime network.
well but i got it back, so now i can see all the episodes i miss.

What episodes have you seen? I've seen the first 25 and got the 6th DVD yesterday so will watch 26-30 soon. ^_^

I've seen almost the whole series. Original Japanese with English subtitles. I've seen about 45 episodes in total. I'm missing four, but from mid-series, so I haven't missed much. I love it. It's a favourite of mine. Akabane, Shido, and Ginji are favourites of mine. I haven't read the manga though, so I don't know how the anime compares, but I am interested in picking up the first volume at least to find out. Should be interesting enough.

One difference is it's the Infinity Fortress instead of the Limitess Fortress.

I used to watch GB on Anime Network, too, until we lost it from
not being able to keep up on paying the bills (still owe $300).

And the manga is cooler/edgy-er than the Anime, plus it contains
stories that never appeared in the Anime (like the creepy one w/
that bastard who was harvesting organs from innocent people).

I've watched episodes 1-12, and read the manga up to the point
that was episode 12 of the show. How I long to see/read more!!!

Count me in! I've seen this anime and it rocks! XD! I got engrossed because of the complex storyline and the character dynamics.. Never seen anything like it. XD! The creators of Getbackers were also the ones who produced Groove Adventure Rave which is excellent.

Getbackers hasn't ended yet, right? Does anyone know, when the 3rd season's coming out?

Err..I haven't read the manga though.. Is it better than the anime? Just asking...

Only read one volume of the manga so not much to compare. As for it having ended already or not, I don't know.
