I've recently started working myself and I've felt the hours really hard to adjust to. I feel that I don't have enough time to play all the games I want to anymore so i'm curious about how many hours of work/school your days are made up of.

Myself, I'm an engineer. My hours are 7:30 to 4 and I start my day at 5a.m and get home at 5p.m. This leaves me about 2 hours of gaming if I want to get enough sleep.

How about the rest of you?

I'm a freshman in college and the hours I spend in class vary depending on the day of the week. On Monday and Wednesday I spend about 4 and 1/2 hours in class, on Tuesday it's 2 and 1/2 hours, and on Thursday and Friday it's about 3 and 1/2 hours.

I also have to do homework, which can take from 1 hour to several hours depending on the subject (and how long I've been putting it off ). Sometimes I go to club meetings in the afternoon, which take 30 minutes to 1 hour. Even on days when I have a lot to do, I still feel like I have more free time than I did in high school.

I don't have a job yet, but I have to start looking for jobs or internships soon so that I have some experience. My college requires us to have some work experience before we graduate. Maybe I'll look for a summer job this year.

I'm studying at university, and I am hoping to finish it mid-year. I am looking at doing film extra work to earn some money (the economy isn't that good still after the Global Financial Crisis) and I am hoping to go and teach English in South Korea.

Network Operations Specialist... for now.

Things haven't been going to well. I'm hoping for the best.

Currently at university working towards both Bachelors in Applied Science and Fine Arts, but I also work at a concert venue as a security guard on weekends. Not a bad job, but the pay is bad and the hours are lousy. Can't finish school fast enough.

I study. I work in a known financial firm. Soon I'll be able to legally be allowed to practice law as well. So that's cool.

I'm unemployed right now, but I'm actively looking for a job related to culinary arts. I'm also open to being a typist, or maybe a secretary to utilize my fast typing speed. I live with my parents right now, and I also have a lovely boyfriend who I may or may not move in with in the future if things continue to work out between us.

So I guess to answer this question, nothing as of right now? I'm considering taking college courses too, but right now I'm really pushing to just find a decent part time job.

I am currently in the military. I love what I do even if the hours are crappy and sometimes I do stuff on my off day. I also go to school taking one class right now.

I have no job. I'm a full-time post-baccalaureate pre-med student (i.e., a crazy person who already got their bachelor's in something else and then was like, oh hey I think I want to go to medical school instead now) and I barely have time to sleep, let alone get a job (or have a social life of any kind of course). Coincidentally, this is why I play a lot of Pokemon games: it's very hard to forget where you were in the game since it's pretty much a railroad, whereas if I forget where I am in other games I just give up and restart the game. *sigh*

Hours? Well, I have class Mon from 2:30 - whenever the fuck lab gets out (today it was like 8:10pm, sometimes it is later ^T__T^;; ) and I only have like 10min between classes to book it to the next one on any day. Tues is 11am til 3:15, Wed is 1:25 - 4:45 unless I have a physics exam that week in which case it's until 6:15, Thurs is 11am til 1:45, and Fri I just have the one class from 2:30 - 3:20. But I have 1-2 exams a week so basically I get home and bash my face against some textbook or another til midnight or later. Today's lab was really fuckin annoying though so I'm in a crappy mood and therefore studying can go fuck itself til tomorrow. ^=__=^;; Crankity-crank-crank. I'ma go hunt for new Pokemon in Blue for an hour and then sleep. I hope everyone else's day was better.

Being a wizard doesn't pay very well, so I am looking for a new job.

Currently a high school student. I might get certification in AutoCAD in a few months, which I can do for a few years. It's probably not what I'm going to do for my whole life, though.
