Dragon-Type Pokémon Spotlight Week
The event, commencing Monday May 25th at 4:00am local time, will allow Researchers to participate and gain bonuses regardless of where they conduct their sleep research, with the following bonuses active throughout the event period:
- At least one Pokémon will be hungry during the Sleep Researchers first sleep research session of the day
- Researchers can encounter a few Pokémon of different sleep types regardless of their own sleep type for the day.
- Researchers will have access to the limited-time Mini-Candy Boost Function
- This event-limited function will give Pokémon 2× the effect from candies, at a cost of using 4× times the amount of Dream Shards per candy.
- Mini Candy Boost can be used with up to 50 candies per day
As with other Dragon-type Pokémon, Drampa collects Yache Berries. Drampa has the Dozing sleep type, which corresponds to the "awake" or "light sleep" phase of a sleep cycle. Drampa will appear at Greengrass Isle (Regular and Expert), Lapis Lakeside, and Amber Canyon,. As of writing, no information has been formally posted regarding their specialty, ingredients or main skills.
Drampa Incense items will also be able to be used from the instant this Pokémon goes live. As with previous Pokémon debuts, it's likely that Drampa Incense will become available in special bundles available for purchase in-game from shortly before the event.
For this event only, Dratini and Bagon will be able to be found in Greengrass Issle and Greengrass Isle (Expert). The following Pokémon will also appear more frequently during sleep research throughout the Dragon-Type Pokémon Spotlight Week event:
- Greater Appearance Rate
- Greengrass Isle, Lapis Lakeside, Amber Canyon, and Greengrass Isle (Expert): Drampa
- Slightly Greater Appearance Rate
- Greengrass Isle: Dratini, Bagon, Noibat, and Noivern.
- Taupe Hollow: Noibat, and Noivern.
- Snowdrop Tundra: Altaria.

Researchers should also note the following for this event:
- The daily rollover for the Dragon-Type Pokémon Spotlight Week event is at 4:00am local time.
- Event bonuses for this event apply regardless of which site players conduct their sleep research in.
- Event bonuses apply only for sleep tracking that begins within the event period, and do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial, or to sleep data tracked before the event, even if the researcher waits to review their sleep research after the event has started.
- The Mini Candy Boost function will only be available during this event. While Mini Candy Boost may be unlocked in another event in future, the amount of EXP gained, the Dream Shard consumption, and/or the number of candies that may be used in one day may be different in future events.
- Sleep data tracked during the event will receive event bonuses, regardless of if the researcher waits to review their sleep research until after the event has concluded.
- In circumstances where there are event bonuses of the same type from overlapping events, these bonuses will not be additive or mulplicative, and only the larger bonus will apply.
