Getting earthquake from Sceptile to Electabuzz.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm trying to breed Earthquake from Sceptile to Electabuzz. I'm getting really confused trying to find the links between the egg groups haha. Can somebody provide some assistance?

Sorry Bud, Electabuzz is in the Humanshape Egg Group and Sceptile is in the Monster/Dragon Egg groups.

Elekid can't even learn Earthquake anyway. You'll have to use a TM.

Anyway, a breeding chain from Sceptile to Electivire is...

Sceptile -> Seviper, Ekans/Arbok -> Spinda, Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape, Buneary/Lopunny, Lucario -> Electivire

OR

Sceptile -> Nidoran♀, Rhyhorn/Rhydon/Rhyperior, Mareep/Flaaffy/Ampharos, Whismur/Loudred/Exploud -> Spinda, Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape, Buneary/Lopunny, Lucario -> Electivire

Either way. Earthquake's not learnable by Elekid or Electabuzz, so a baby Electivire won't have it.

Only Ekans, Sandshrew, Diglett, Mankey, Machop, Geodude, Slowpoke, Onix, Cubone, Lickitung, Rhyhorn, Pinsir, Aerodactyl, Snorlax, Sudowoodo, Wooper, Girafarig, Pineco, Dunsparce, Gligar, Snubbull, Shuckle, Heracross, Teddiursa, Swinub, Corsola, Mantine, Phanpy, Stantler, Larvitar, Makuhita, Nosepass, Aron, Wailmer, Numel, Torkoal, Trapinch, Seviper, Barboach, Tropius, Spheal, Relicanth, Cranidos, Shieldon, Gible, Munchlax, Riolu, Hippopotas, Croagunk, and Mantyke are able to have Earthquake when hatched, by way of their father having the move (and thus not requiring the TM to be used). Other than that, you have to use TM26. But hey, there's a 1% chance of getting one through Pickup in Emerald and Gen IV, or in the Battle Tower/Frontier in Gen IV for 80 BP.

Chansey, Kangaskhan, and Miltank are left out of the above list since they're female-only and can't pass it on, though they can hatch with it. Tauros and Tyrogue are left out because they only can hatch when bred from their own species and Ditto. Lunatone, Solrock, Baltoy, and Bronzor are left out because they can only breed with Ditto.
