Getting Natures

Is there anyway of getting certain natures? Or is it really just luck and lots of battles to get the nature that you want?

If you breed using an Everstone, whatever the nature of the Pokemon holding the Everstone is will be passed on to the child. So, basically, if you want to control the nature of a Pokemon, get yourself a Ditto of every nature, and BAM, problem sorted.

This only works for post Emerald games though.

Ok that helps to some extent. What about areas in the games. For example, I am trying to get a Tallow with the Jolly or Adament nature. But I don't seem to be able to come across one. It seems that Quite nature is all thats here!!

It has nothing to do with locations, it's randomly generated when you encounter the Pokemon.

Do you suggest that I look for natures at the time of wanting the Pokemon or after E4? Or anyother time?

Wanting the Pokemon I guess... it's not as if when you try to catch them in the game has any actual relevance to it. You just need to have the patience for it.

Yeah, I thought as much. Luckily I have the patience for it. I have been at it for 2 days straight! Looking for the same Pokemon! Boredum has set it however!
