Giacomo & Kingambit make their debut in this limited-time Poké Fair Scout alongside the launch of the Academy Founding Chapter: Let's Make a School on Pasio event. This scout is available in-game now, and will run through to October 17th at 10:59pm (PDT). As normal for Poké Fair Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. This Poké Fair Scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.
Players will also receive 4× Tech Roll Cake Coin and 4× 5★ Power-Ups each time they pair up with Giacomo & Kingambit through this scout, up to a maximum of 5 times.
Giacomo & Kingambit are focused around outputting large amounts of damage through the Sync Move ↑ Next and Physical Moves ↑ Next effects. Their Spin You Up Good! Status move sets up their initial attacks, raising their Attack by six stat ranks, applying the Free Move Next effect to them, and increasing their Sync Move ↑ Next effect by two ranks. This event gets boosted every time allied Pokémon take damage, when their DJ Vice's Beat Drop Passive Skill increasing their Sync Move ↑ Next effect by 1 rank for each Pokémon taking damage from each attack. In addition to powering up their Sync Move, this effect also activates their Perfect Kowtow Cleave Buddy Move, which hits all opponents with a Base Power 400 strike that's further powered up the more their Sync Move ↑ Next effect is increased, while also ignoring passive skills that would reduce the damage of this attack or protect the target against a critical hit, and ignoring an Enduring effect. Additionally, this move also increases their Physical Moves ↑ Next effect by a number of ranks equal to the number of fainted Pokémon on your team.
