Gif avatar?

So yeah, if any of you are curious as to why my avatar is suddenly gone, that's because I tried adding this little baby below:



I had it resized and renamed it .gif, previewed it and it works perfectly. That image is also a perfect 100 x 100 px, but when I upload it it says "try to submit an image under 50 KB." I'm going to take a guess and say there's too many frames in this pic but I've seen other members with long animating avatars myself.

Perhaps I'll just stick with a non-animated one. Ho hum.

The gif is 433KB so it exceeds the 50KB limit by far.

@Incinerawr I know it's not the same, but this was what I could make out of your gif:

50 kb is really small, so only short animations work.

@noworry Thanks! I'll use this for a bit. Maybe I can PM you later with a slightly larger picture - your icon is animated and it's much bigger than mine. :3
