GIF, Avatar

I've tried this many times, but it doesn't work.
I changed my avi to a GIF Animation, but it just stays still like a normal pic, and it doesn't move around why?

That means the file is too big (i.e. over 100x100 or 19.5kb). Make it 100x100 and it should work.

Image editing softwares. GIMP would probably work.
