Gif avatars

Hello! I'm trying to use a gif of chespin's x and y model as my avatar, but when I upload it it doesn't move. How do I fix this?

It probably exceeds the file size limit allowed for avatars. When that happens the forum will try to resize it automatically but animations won't be kept. Can you upload it for me so I can try and resize it for you?

It isnt animating. This can happen because a gif is over the file size limit allowed and will not animate if so.
