Description - Modern? Not any more, technology has become far advanced, for space can now be adventured by almost anybody and white scyscrapers peirce high above the clouds. Planes can come and go for they have been designed for single passengers and easy acess, computers have become holograms, all foods have become organic and gas/oil is no longer herd of.

HISTORY LESSON:
Global warming struck earth right when all the leaders of the world couldn't agree on saving eachother from the money downfall - including gas prices, food production and medical and living expenses. With the rivers, lakes and the oceans were drying up so were the creatures and the mother nature's remedies. Somehow a plaque broke out among the organic food - such as vegetables and fruits - and deminished Earth's popultaion by millions every year. Those who survived the horrible decade burried the dead beneath all of their soil (because there were so many) which started mother nature's time of healing. As the world became much cooler for the sun aged older, the creatures began to cooperate with the humans allowing them special gifts such as dna morphing and so forth. Finnaly as the few hundred humans began to regroup themselves, they seperated and searched for better homes and lifestyles. So the gifted clans were born.

There are up to 7 different clans. Each clan has their own district on the world, derived of their own culture and language. The main city, Detin, hosts a home for everyone of the world, and the meetings of the clan leaders. There is a main sport of Earth, called Jostic, where humanoids and gifted can fight in vast arenas. The battles are between different trained classes - elemental, and physical skills. The championship between the last two fighters can be inbetween the elements and mortal man.

1. Alteria - made up of the richest mortals who are planning (in top secret) to cage all gifted and humanoids to their usage - location - funded and reside mainly in the city of Detin
2. Fetan - agriculture related culture - live on outskirts of detin, in the plains of Hungar. - very gentle people/peace lovers
3.Uric - Strength based human clan who works in the mines along side of their specialties - humanoids
4.Pensive - wolf based clan - werewolves as well who live in the dark forests near the northern hemisphere. they are famous for migration and are silent in the affairs of the world - intill it concerns them
5. Rednerick - Gifted people who live on the island of Garden, where they train their teens to grow up for battle and as knights against the wars between the clans that seem to happen more often lately - they have a great college and scince institute
6. Kinsden - a clan of both humans and gifted, they stay in the desert
7. Juno - amphibian based clan - deep under the ocean lies everal large dome shaped structures, both mortals and gifted live here. Coral reefs serves them protection

HOWEVER:
A small outbreak of large carnivorous creatures began to populate around the clans' homes, and most inquire they come from the unkown side of the world. The religionists and some racionists believe thats whome the unkown gifted chose to become.

Alteria :

They are the most upperclass people who limit their population by those who do and don't have money. Their city of Detin is a beautiful city full with high towers of white marble, cement and oval windows to provide a better varity of light. Beneath the high towers sidestreet businesses keep to their more modern shop styles, linking the towers like rowhouses in london and france. Since the mushroom shaped towers provide great weather protection to the streets below, houses and shops sit in the shade, causing plantlife to grow over the roofs and down the sides. The city water fall over the sides of the towers and down onto the buildings below, creating the water systems to be filled with clean oxygen and rainwater collections. Humanoids and robots keep the greenery and water substancially and upkeep free. The streets are large, and allways and usally end at beautiful crossroads, mainly for the pedestrians. To keep traffic away from those who wish to walk, they have updated their transportations to roadways swerving through the towers, and up to the airway traffic. The three different levels of transportation lowers death rates, and increases the different sorts of bussinesses, tourists, housing levels and the fares.

LAWS:

All citizens of Alteria must wear the Alterian badge on their right side, upper torso clothing. Anyone else must wear their own clan badge in their own way of wearing it. ((i will explain this for every clan.))

TOP SECRET INFO:

Yes, the Alterian government chose a set of scientists to study the manipulation of gifted people, and to somehow configure the gifts into their very own controlable humanoids. In doing so the Alterian government are planning to control all of the clans, hoping to further the small and very agile peace treaty they have finnaly made within the lat year.
 
Fetan

:

Ever wanted to live and grow up somewhere peaceful, and friendly? Then your looking into the plains of Hungar, where the Fetan clan resides. The land is as green as an emerald forest, but flat enough for their produce and animals to grow. Their clothing is more to a minimum, allowing movement in the body and soul. They look towards their Detin neighbors for money and technology help, but other than that they are a more small town culture. They are famous for their apples and home pies, and of course, their magic users. They train their young ones to use both their natural gifts and magic to help in the farmlands and home development. They most certainly enjoy the local sport of something like dodgeball, rather using their developing powers to maneuver the rubber balls than their own physical bodies. Usually the average Fetan is skinny, tall and has brown hair.

Fetans live in the sides of large hills, sort of like hobbits, but their ceilings are for human sizes, not smaller people. They use wood to create an outsanding outside entrance to their homes, presenting their family trees and heritage. They don't mind allowing people to know about their outstanding traits and people. In the middle of town a small lake serves as their water source, and connected to that are small streams from Detin which they use as irragation channels. Small children love to pick the heart shaped red apples from their groves of trees whicalmost everyone has one of. Through the main cobbled stone path you may find thier small bussinesses of grocery stores, the doctor, and the thrift stores which people find handy. They try to use the outside and mother nature as much as possible, not limiting themselves within brick and stone. On market days stalls and cloth line the main street covering the sky with white linen. When the sun sets in the west one may find themselves noticing a line of trees off in the distance; this is the start of the dangerous forests of Drakmere.

LAWS:

Fetans where their special symbol of maple leaves around the bottom leather sash around their pants which also holds tools and simple things.
 
Uric :

If you are looking to live a life full of strength and high end morrals, along with young careers such as blacksmithing, ironmaking, and a miner then you've come to the right place. The Urics live in a valley side deep within the mountains southwest of the forests of Drakmere. They have carved their homes into the side out of the mountain, which looks over the valley's small river. Their homes sit up high away from the dangerous wolverines who once evaded their ancient homelands. Yes you can say they seem to be like dwarves, but no where near their size could they be compared to for the Urics train their bodies to be able to lift water and materials from below, and also climb the many, many carved stone steps. Appearal seems to be almost as simple as the Fetans, but they embrace their joints and tender spots with metal armor. Alterians don't like these people very much for their strong judgements and their leadership of taking command of topics such as war and keeping the demons at ease by simply whiping them out entirely. Didn't you know? The gifted who have drifted off into the unknown world came back as changed creatures where they grew to become more like amphibians and dinasaurs but more fierce and uglier and extremely hard to kill. Fetans has always called upon the Urics when they see these creatures start to prowl around their lands. In return the Fetans allow Urics to have as much food as they wish for, keeping their hungry souls at ease. The Urics have also found themselves at ease with humanoids finding their metallic structers quiet a blessing in battles and often they create them for themselves and fight with them at their very own colleseum inside of the mountain.

LAWS: All Urics where the metal plates of their land which are engraved with their symbol of the minatoar's hammer.
 
Pensive :

Mysterious type? Love to hunt beneath the shadows of the trees? Don't mind fighting for ranks and recieving bites and wounds for your disruption and or mistakes? Don't mind watching the cubs when you are too weak to fight? You might as well become a full blooded wolf of Drakmere. On most occasions the pensive clan do not accept human or mortal creatures from the outside. But if they find you as tough, and able to bring them some abbility that they find useful, you could share a pact with this clan. It is a very small clan, made up of only 234 counting the newly born cubs. They must stay small, afraid of overpopulating their homelands within the forests and total exucution of their herbavors of elk and odd looking jackrabbits. Drakmere forests lay west of the plains of Hungar and runs north and down south to touch the mountain sides. Their pack leader's name is Crucifer and he is part wolf part machine. When wounded in the old wars a rebel of Uric healed him with his technology making half his face a black metallic slate with jagged knifes running along the left to lok like his already demonic looking fur. The young man made his left eye red, putting his hate into the leader's mind. Crucifer is more than a hundred years old, and yet he reigns higher than any other wolf/werewolf has reached. If you are trying to find a home in the woods, and are apart of this clan I should suggest you'd just give up. To rest their bodies and mind they group together with guards on the lookout. They always venture into their territory even though they know it by heart. Lately since the larger demonic gifted outcats have approached their hunting grounds they have become more unsteady, migrating constantly even when they need their sleep.

LAWS:

To wear clothing most of this clan does not, instead they mark their creatures with a claw wound mark across their chest.
 
Rednerick :

Ah, the tropical vocation, on the island of Garden, which you have always been looking for. Rednericks have built a small city like the italians and the greek of our times. Their buildings climb the hills of the small island strand just off of the coast south of Detin. These people seem to come from the personalities of what we know that are needed to join the gryfindors of hogwarts. Rednericks are proud people who have settled almost every war that had plagued their world. Seeing as though they live on islands, you would think they would have limits towards powers and strengths. With great minds come with great powers. You can see at the brim of the roofs of the town, a huge dome stretching across the middle island. This is the sunpowered roof of the high tech science and medical institute. At the farthest end of the islands is another extremely tall dome, this one is the training college. The people here accept newcomers from all over the world hoping to find the next greatest power, and new ways to achieve peace between the clans. In the busy small streets children from ages of five to seventeen run about challenging the others to duels or researching in the school's library and even taking a nap in the beautiful sun. Sounds like paradise right? This sort of moment for the rednericks do not happen often, for their government channel strict rules to lessen crime and their number of poor citizens. Such rules are bedtimes for young children, food rationing, and taxes. But not many people complain because it keeps their community happy and safe. Now their clothing styles may be more random than of the other clans because of how many students, scientists and other clan members walking around on their islands that anybody could in fact blend in.

LAWS:

To really tell a Rednerick from the other clans is the tattoo on the right side of their necks, which is the sun exherting magic ((jagged lines like electricty circling the sun))))
 
Kinsden :

Trecherous, hot and dry describes the desert which the Kinsden wish to stay in. They aren't migraters like the pensive clan, but roost within their small village far east of Detin. They draw their water from the uderground rivers and hunt their livestock in the nearbye canyons. Before the plaque vanished over half of the human population, the global warming dried up the largets river sytem and left earth's face with a horendous scar. The surviving creatures evolved to match their new waterless environment, becoming smaller and carnivorous. The main food which the Kinsden enjoy is sand lizards and the soup of rabbit feet. They wear clothing to protect their faces from the sandstorms and the brisk wind which blows through the town daily. Since the sun isn't so strong anymore the men don't wear shirts, rather keeping cloth around their faces like tunics. Of course they wear pants and shorts, and the women like to wear colorful skirts like whom we call the jypsies. Kinsden are a fierce, motivated clan like the Urics, but they limit themselves from the world government affairs. Since the larger carnivorous creatures from the unkownn have been limiting their food supply they have alloud gifted to live within their village to protect and serve against them.

Newcommers of the Kinsden village live within fine tents among the sandstone square buildings. The taller buildings were built along the edges of the village to provide wind and sand shelter. Within the middle of town are four towers which are taller than the outer rim buildings so they will be able to see and fire artillary across the desert. The women like to make pottery from the sand and they also love using the blood from their food and dyes from their sands to create beuatiful and strong clothing.

LAWS:

Their face cloths are mainly how you may detect a Kinsden, but to truelly know who they are the mothers pierce he children's left eyebrow with a small red mettalic ring. If you grow ranks within their government you must recieve more.

There is a reason why ships don't go far out into the sea, its because the plaque wiped out millions species of fish and amphibians within Earth's oceans creating the evolution of very, very large fish. Whether they may be carnivorous or not. Some humans decided to live within the oceans, protecting themselves from the outbreak. After doing so, their bodies began to grow fins, gills, and webbed feet. Their skin has also began to turn a beautiful blue green, even though some of their human skin still glowed beneath. They wear rubber and certain fibered cloth tightly around their sensitive areas, allowing much of their skin to be free and exposed in the tropical warm waters. Yes, even the coldest spots in the oceans have become much warmer due to the global warming. Within their dome like homes they live prospering with medical and marine techonology further allowing themselves to build onto their city. Lately the humans and gifted have been allowed in their home because they wish to help the surface with the odd creatures from the unkown. The Junos hope to find a way to keep these creatures from destroying their neighbor's and sometimes their own city. They wouldn't have to be afraid of much of anything that could be a threat to them because coral reefs serves them protection around their city.

If you were inside of their domes, you will be able to breathe oxygen normally and see quiet well. They iluminate the city with floating lanturns as well as hovering devices like food stands, media and so forth. Their city is much like Detin, rather underwater and looks like a blue beehive from the outside. The juno city looks like a white, clean tokyo from the inside.

LAWS:

In order to really tell if you are one of the Junos, you would either have oceanlike features,(fins, gills, etc.) and or wear their specially designed confortable clothing that look like hightech white lab coats. ((they form around your body to keep it safe from pressure releases and insuficiant oxygen leaks)). Also the symbol is branded into their right hands, which is a madusa's face.

Character Description:

Her nickname is Celeb, which she never uses her first name. Personality wise she is kind, but often lost in thought. Her daydreams get the best of her ^-^ On the other hand she is much of a tomboy who hates the color pink, and the style/attitude of preps. She enjoys playing soccer in the streets if she is not busy protecting her village from the dangerous odd creatures. Celeb lives alone in an attic space high above the town, within one of the tallest buildings. She resorts to theivery for food and nessities.

Height: 5 foot 3 inches Wight: 92 pounds

Hair style/color: Natural dark red (alburn?) hair that bends around her slightly round cheeks along with a pure (not bleached) white streak down left side. Her short hair goes down to her chin.

Eye color: Her eyes are a greyish white - silver Lips? she was born with natural red (not offwhite pink or rosy color) colored thin lips

Appearal: Top: Long sleeve black shirt that hugs around the top of her belley, right beneath the bust area. Bottom: Black tripp cargo shorts which hang to her knees, red chains fall into an x - formation in the back and connecting to her right hip. A studded belt keeps them from falling off. Shoes: weres black converse, but prefers to run in her bare feet. Jewelry: a dog chain (necklace) hangs at her neck supporting two silver keys. Other: Bandages wrap around her left ankle, where she had recently been attacked by some thug, who left a stab wound across it.

Weapon: She always have knifes and daggers on hand, but her favorite pair of twin daggers are engraved with phoenixes and their handles turn into your palms for better agility and power.

Power: Celeb has a second spirit infused with her DNA. There is another voice and body within hers, rather his body is normally hidden within her own cells, and he can activate any of his own cells at almost any time. He is a firey demon ((a dark blaziken with dragon wings)) who is capable of flight, mind speak and fire.

Clan: Pensive/Rednerick

Gender: Male

Character description: Being the hero, he just can't stomach the sight of someone in need and leave it lying down. He is proud of his animalistic heritage, and as such, hates human hunters that kill for sport. He's pratical-minded, and can be dense and at the same time smart. He's a little bit on the wild side, but knows when to be civilized. He can be smug if he wants, and can be mischeivous. Due to the numbers of his Pensive clan, he's a little bit high-strung. He is also fiercely loyal to anyone he's sworn to. He also has a strong sense of duty and honor.

Height: 6 foot, 1 inches

Weight: 180 lbs.

Eye color: He is an oddity, for he has complete heterochromia - that is, different eye colors. His right is a metallic gray, and his left an bright hazel.

Lips?: His are the normal pink with a healed scar that looks like a nick from a sharp object on his left side of his upper lip.

Hair color: Black hair that has grey tips. Worn in a down style, making it look like it's wet.

Apparel:
(Top): A jacket with the Rednerick symbol on the back, bandages that cover his torso, exculding his Pensive mark. Black arm bracers and tan hand guards.
(Bottom): Torn pants that extends bit beyond the knee. Bandages cover legs from knee to ankle.
(Shoes): Wears no shoes.
(Jewelry): A yin-yang pendent, as well as a pendent made from 10 different animal tails.
(Other): A black backpack with a gold Rednerick with a silver Pensive symbol on it, which breaks the laws of physics for storage space.

Weapons: Usually, carries a katana which is named Hi-Okami, but prefers to use his feet or hands, which can destroy even rock, unless his opponent has weapons. He has a plentora of other weapons inside his backpack.

Powers: Along with the complete control over the element of fire, he can transform into a lycanthrope. When a full moon arises, he goes into a berserker state, while a new moon robs him of his wolfish powers.

Sealed inside him is the spirit of a sprit ((A fusion of Roserade and a fairy)), whose named Rosalina. Her job is to heal Travis' wounds however great, as well as be his teacher and mother of sorts. However, Rosie isn't a constant source, as she does tire from either healing too much wounds or bringing him back from a near-death state.

Clan:Born a Fetan, but raised in Kinsden. Travels a lot.

Character Description: Having been raised in the desert, Roth is very calm and collected, with a laid back attitude. Also, due to the rarity of life in the desert, has a deep respect for it and only hunts with a bow and arrow. However, he has an extreme desire for power, and will do many things to obtain it.

Height: 6'4
Weight: 154 pounds
Hair: Dirty blonde, somewhat messy.
Eye Color: Golden
Weapons: A long staff, knobbed and bleached white by the desert sun. Looks a lot like a giant bone. He also has a shortbow made of yew, and usually keeps about 8 to 12 arrows in a leather quiver.

Apparel: A long, loose, light tan robe, and straw sandals. He has a silver chain necklace with a black disk on it.

Powers: Due to energies he recieved from a mysterious entity, Roth has a limited control over gravity, and and can use nature-oriented magic

Character Description: A tall, strong fellow, he is very quiet. Although he is 14, he is very strong and tall. He has learned from experieces to sdtay out of things that aren't his problems. Has no friends on his own accord and personality wise. But although fit, he doesn't weigh much.

Weight: 115

Hair style/color: Long, jet-black hair

Eye color: topaz-gold-amber

Lips? normal
Apparel:
Top): shirtless, no shirt fits him
(Bottom): toen pants, it looks like something bit them long ago
(Shoes): wears no shoes
(Jewelry): a wolf pendant

Weapon: A custom made staff of a tree. looks like a wolf head to tail. he puts it on his back. Has a hunting knife in his lower leg. And he has a sword with a sheath made from deer skin.

Power: He can use the elements for his weapons to make 'ele-weapons.' He has so far mastered ice, flame, wind, electricity, and leafs.

we start here on this thread, and I will also start the story out. Itll explain where we are, or where I am, you may begin wherever upon the map. {crappy map info on previous page} I will present a simple problem or issue, involving the Alterian secret group and their alternate ideas for the gifted.
