"Realistic" Garbodor

100_1880.JPG

This is my first Pokémon drawing I've posted here, but not the first Pokémon drawing I've made! I don't have a scanner, so the quality is a little bad, but it could be worse!

I was unhappy with the original artwork for Garbodor, as he didn't, well, look enough like garbage; he looked more like a pile of dirt or something! But I've remedied that, and added all the garbage that he should be made out of. I also added some more details to the other parts of him (like more wrinkles and tears to the bag part), anime drawings seem to tend to lack a lot of little details (at least as far as Pokémon drawings go).

I would love to hear what you all think! I love to be critiqued!

Re: "Realistic" Garbodor

Wow, that is AMAZING! O_O it's so beautifully detailed, every single inch of it. There's nothing to critique here, you've got some true talent!

Re: "Realistic" Garbodor

That's pretty cool! I love the detail work, and the flies are a nice touch.

Yeah, I like to add a lot of details... gives me something to do when I'm bored (like during school)!

I wanted to make sure he was extra disgusting! Thanks for noticing those! I have stink lines in there, too, but you can't really see them very well because of the picture!

Re: "Realistic" Garbodor

He's trashier, stinkier and just discusting. Good job.

Re: "Realistic" Garbodor

Thanks!

I almost forgot, there are some hidden items in there! Let's see if anyone can find them! First of all, there is a Pokéball hidden in there somewhere. Also, there are a couple of Mario coins. Let's see who can find them first! (Actually, now that I think of it, the coins are really hard to see in this picture, so those are extra!)

Re: "Realistic" Garbodor

AMAZING! BTW, I found the Pokeball. (Main part of the body, close to the bottom, and a little to the right from the center)

You found it!

Next, there is a baseball cap hidden somewhere!

Weathered Gyarados

Another Pokémon drawing of mine!

This one is of "Storm-weathered Gyarados". This is a Gyarados who's had a long, hard life.

I added some extra details (especially to the eyes), and added a beat-up quality (i.e. Cracks in his horns, his fins are tattered, etc., etc.)

Hope you all like it! I love to be critiqued!

"Realistic" Garbordor

I think it's the thing next to the pokeball. (I guess that thing is just a basketball if not the hat then). If it's not the hat, then you've stumped me. Congrats :sweatlol:

Weathered Gyarados

Wow, this isn't as intricate as you're Garbodor, but just as magnificently drawn. There is nothing that I could suggest to improve upon, sorry. I love to draw also, but I couldn't do anything nearly as well as this.

Great job! Amazing shading. You should create a thread full of your art!

I think I will do that, but I need to upload some more stuff first.

I guess I stumped you! That's supposed to be a deflated beach ball, btw.

Here's a hint: it's somewhere on the right.

In this topic I will post all of my artwork from now on.

Here are some photoshopped pictures I've done to start with:

I made this one from scratch! I just used photoshop - no already made images.

wow, you did a really great job! i especially like the first one. :)

do you mind if i make a suggestion though? your second image, the 'stars' (which i assume are stars!) stick out a little too much. they don't really look like stars, they're too grainy. maybe if you lowered the opacity it would give them a genuine feel! it's still really lovely, just thought i'd offer that input

Re: "Realistic" Garbodor

Is it an obvious thing? 'Cause that's what usually stumps me. When it comes to that, I'm as blind as a bat.

The second one is older, and, thus, not as good! I still liked it, though, so I thought I'd post it! thanks!

Coming up next:

Tyranitar!

Actually, it's not that easy to see! Here's another hint: it's on his right arm.

Do you mean its right arm or the arm that appears right to us?
