Now, we all know that Giovanni is one sexy pimp.

What are some of your favorite Giovanni shippings?

Just curious.
 
Ahehe, I agree with you there.

Mine are Commandshipping (GioxDomino), Diamondshipping (GioxDelia) and Daydreamshipping (onesided GioxMeowth). Commandshipping seems obvious to me in Mewtwo Returns - Domino seems to be the only Rocket who can disagree with Giovanni without dire consequences, and is often seen at his side, so it's interesting to think about what's going on, ahem, behind the scenes so to speak. Though I doubt there's any romance between the two if something was going on, which brings me to Diamondshipping.. In my opinion this is the only pairing with Giovanni I can think of with any actual bond/love on his part. Plus it's canon in Pokemon Live, which is fun. Daydreamshipping, because, well, it's pretty much implied canon, and it's hilarious but also has a potential for angst (Meowth's confusing unrequited feelings for the Boss)

Outside that, I don't subscribe to any other Giovanni shippings, other than the obvious Gio X Silver shipping because of their canon relationship.

giovanni's such a pimp that i can imagine him with almost anyone, really. but if i had to pick favorites...
*ascendancyshipping (gio/red) - the ship name only seems to apply to mangaverse, but i ship it gameverse way more; gotta love the potential f'ed up-ness and angst ;)
*diamondshipping (gio/delia) - they would be classy, there's no denying it [whenever i think of this ship i always think of old black & white movies, lolzz]
*commandshipping (gio/domino) - my intense love of domino requires me to ship this to some degree <3
*curseshipping (gio/lance) - do i need a reason? =w=;;
*darkintentionshipping (gio/karen) - because i think she's secretly a TR member, or at least has ties to the team [also, it would be hella sexy]
*silverspawnshipping (gio/athena) - idk, a lot of people ship this because they think she's silver's mom, but... i just ship it because i think they would be attractive [and INTENSE] together
*ivoryshipping (gio/koga) - a guilty pleasure ship of mine, hehe

aaaand there are plenty of others that i might list at a later date~
 
The idea of Giovanni being shipped hurts my brain.
And this is coming from someone who occasionally reads Samus/Ridley fics.
 
DiamondShipping is nice. I used to like it a lot in fact.


LostandFound is always fun, though it always ends up s unrequited in my brain, since Silver's all about that PreciousMetalShipping. Lol.

A few of us were Airshippers (Gio/ Jirarudan) back in the day, but I haven't seen any of that in ages.

I was poking around, reading up on some of the characters I've missed, and it just occurred to me that I might like Giovanni/ Cynthia. I don't even know.

Anyways, if you want to know why it happened that way (I think you actually know I ship everything with everything else), I had practically just returned from Pixiv, where they ship them very much and they got me squicked. I didn't mean for it to sound so rude... I'm sorry.

It's cool. It takes a lot to squick me out over pairings, and LostAndFound has always seemed REALLY cute to me.
Though I tend to see it more unrequited than anything (Since Silver's all about Gold.)

I like this idea and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. :thumbup: I'm intrigued by the old black and white movie idea--a Casablanca style ending to the relationship is pretty rad.

A topic to think on: If you Diamondship, do you believe that Delia was actually a member of TR when it happened, or was she just an outsider? Or does it say anywhere that she officially was--I can't remember...

It also takes a lot to squick me, but it was just a series of events that played for the worst... I really should learn to read Japanese, you know?

Hee hee hee, I remember when I was reading the shipping list at the Neverending Romance site, and I found LostAndFound there. I got this face of :-|, then of :XD2:; I was mostly neutral toward it, and I could see how it could play as either unrequited or as reciprocated... and then Pixiv happened! :sweat:

Anyways, say LAFS and PMS play as you just said, would it be a sad unrequited or an "I want my beloved to be happy" unrequited? I was just wondering...

I get a very Jealous "This Gold boy isn't good enough for Silver" "Why would Silver want HIM" confused about his own feelings to some degree, possessive kind of unrequited, while Silver is totally clueless.

Hee hee hee, that totally reminded me of chapter 9 (I think it was 9, anyways) of this story, Admitting, at FF.net (it's a PMS; have you read it?)

But Silver being clueless, I think it'd be hard to pull off :XD2: (game!Silver could, but manga!Silver...)

And "confused about his own feelings" is such a good drama fuel :crush: *loves dramatic anythings*

XD I dont think Silver would suspect his father of lusting after him.
