Interesting. I REALLY hated the art in this one though...and it cut out the "vital" parts of the end credits.

I picked up the Japanese version today.

...and boy, do I not like the art style in this book. And I'm one of the people who defends the art style in Anakubo Kousaku's Pocket Monsters manga.

Like...Zero looks okay. And the heroes look ok some of the time. But the rest?

I haven't had the chance to read through it yet, but from the bits I've checked, it looks like it follows the movie fairly closely. The big changes I noticed right off the bat are that 1) everyone but Moose and Leila have been omitted from the train scene and 2) Takeshi has his Gureggru fight against Giratina for a few short panels. Which is more than he did in the actual movie.

They also changed the part where the Megaliba is disabled. Rather than Mugen hacking the system with his Doctor Octopus backpack, they have Pikachu blow up the keyboard.

Don't know about much else since I only have two CoroCoros with one part each, but that was all WHAT to me.

One thing I noticed when flipping through it was that Mugen actually identifies Zero's airship as the "Megaliba," something that he doesn't do in the actual movie itself.
