I really hope you guys didn't think Universal Studios distributing this one meant extras. I pity you if you do.

Good otherwise, it fixed some of the sloppy layout problems The Rise of Darkrai's DVD had, and the new song (This Is A Wonderful World) is one of the better dub songs in recent memory.

Who is the artist that sings This Is A Wonderful World?

From the credits:

"This Is A Beautiful World"
Vocals by: Aaron Brotherton
Written and Produced By: John Loeffler and David Wolfert

Seeing this on DVD really makes me wish the Movies were on Blu-Ray. Ah well. I'm kinda surprised it took me 2 stores to find a copy-I thought the movie would be better distributed given how much it was featured on the NBCUniversal DVD site.

It was #13 on the Top 30 in my local FYE today.

I guess every retailer except the Target by my apartment had it ordered.

Knew there would be no extras...

Not that I care, but they would reveal some interesting things. Well... I saw that coming after all.

Yeah, what is it with Pokemon USA not including extras on the Pokemon movies anymore? They included special features with the 9th movie DVD and then that was it....

Not that I really mind, considering the fact that I watch and record the movies when they air on CN. But, if the DVDs did have cool extras, I might be more inclined to buy them. ^^;

Ah well, it's Pokemon USA's loss. Hehe. XD

It's sung doing the credits but Cartoon Network fast forward the credits and muted the song. But it's at the end of the movie on DVD.

yea i hate when CN does that. the credits/end scenes for this movie were pretty good with gracadia flowers being shipped to dawn, ash, and brocks families. I loved that.

oh well, its incentive to buy the dvds i guess.

so aside from that...is there anything else on the dvds worth getting if I already taped the CN airing?

"This is a Beautiful World" is pretty good, though not really great or anything. It is one of the better dub songs.

I too am guilty of never buying the U.S. movie DVDs. I have the Japanese box set so I'm satisfied. Though I would have gladly bought the 8th movie on DVD had it been presented in widescreen. But it didn't. So I didn't.

I did listen to This is a Beautiful World and it was a pretty good song. It's a lot better than their usual insert songs. Though I really like the original song "One" by Crystal Kay.

The DVD does look considerably better, since it's actually native widescreen rather than letterboxed.

One of the reasons the discs don't have any extras is that then they can fit them onto a single-layer disc, which is cheaper than a dual-layer disc.

Seems the movie's doing pretty well for itself - it's currently number one on Amazon.com's bestselling Anime & Manga DVDs.
