Girl in China committing suicide to save her father

Just...wow. I know some people feel that there are no selfless deeds but to me this is one.

I don't really know anyone that would do what she did (I doubt I would), she really is very brave.

Yeah, I think so. Also, you have to be compatible. Otherwise, the donors body rejects it.

Just remember, this is the liver of a young girl. To take enough of it to keep her father alive, they'd have to take more than she could survive with.

Thats what I call love for her father. That's one of the most selfless actions I've heard about.

This honestly doesn't strike me as "selfless" or "heroic" at all. It strikes me as intensely stupid. Campaign for more people to donate their organs. LIVE for it, don't die for it.

Yeah, that struck me as pretty ironic, too.

Hmm, but I don't know if the phrase "committing suicide"
really applies to this situation if she is indeed trying to save her father.

And after reading the article...that's a lot of pills.
 
Yeah, but how many 13-year olds would know that? Not many of the people I know would have at that age.

That is so sweet, but also sad. I can't believe she would do that for her father. She must really love him to kill herself for him.
 
Thats really sweet of her... but the new generation should surpass the old, if there are risks involved she shouldn't go through with the procedure.
 
That girl's brave. Very. I admire her, in a way.
