There's this girl I like whose name is Tia, but she likes this guy named Kyle. I'm really nice to her, give her a bunch of presents and everything, but Kyle just sits there and she fawns all over him. What should I do?
 
stop trying to woo her with presents. if she hasn't picked up on the hint yet, she's probably not very materialistic.

...and if that is the case, kyle has something that you don't.
 
She may not like you and there's nothing you can do about it. Don't forget there might be a lot better girls than her. That's my advice.
 
Being a girl, I'll give you some advice. Like Valentine said, you may not want to give so many presents, I know I'd be overwhelmed. Another idea, start a conversation you can both relate to, I've wound up liking a guy just because we both liked a beatle. Are you a good dancer? She might appreciate that.

WTF is wrong with you. Kyle is clearly a douche bag. He should kick the kid's ass. The good guy should always win, and Kyle is clearly not the good guy.

My advice is to just take it easy. Find out what she likes, be real nice to her, and just try to show that you can be better than a kid who just sits there and she fawns over him.

But if all else fails, she just might not be interested. You can't really change it, I guess.
