Girl who never ages.

Strange story, but it looks like the brain isn't coordinating growth evenly. While she does appear healty (thank-goodnes), it certainly is strange why this is happening...

Well she looks a bit like she has brain damage with the eyes and all. But what is strange is that if she grows a month per year she will have so much knowledge at the age of 40 cause she would be 500.

I read about a person with a similar affliction, except the person was a 22 year old Chinese woman and was in a Ripley's book

Hmm...interesting. That would be pretty tricky to live like that.

My question is, does she live normally or is she gonna live till she reaches an age where a normal person dies.
That would do with the decay process. Would she decay like a normal person or would her body react in a way to make it flow in the time period of the growth process. If it does then she will truly live for centuries if not a whole millenium.

Ugh, even if she is functionally immortal, she has to go through an infancy, childhood, and adolescence that lasts 12 times as long.

Ouch for a women that has to be a pain in the ass.

Definitely a strange case, but in regards to the "she'll live for hundreds of years!" theory. Won't happen. If you look up more info on her, it's sad to say, but it looks like Brooke will probably die quite young. She's had so many health problems since birth (she was born at only 4 lbs and with her hips dislocated) and since then has constantly fought for her life. The poor kid has even suffered from a stroke and had to use a feeding pump at one point. Whatever she has, I don't think it's gonna help anyone slow down aging. Not only do the reports say certain parts of her body ARE growing (just leaving the rest behind), but...dang. Why would you want to live that long with all those problems? Honestly it's quite depressing when you think of it from the kid's point of view.

That's pretty weird. How are things like this even possible?

this kind of stuff happens. Life is unpredictable, regardless of what people say.

I doubt she'll live to be very old. If she physically is an infant, keep in mind that their immune systems are not exactly the best. And even if her body did get older, I'm not certain about her mind. I'm not certain but it seems like she's just another child, but is just growing slowly. Now, maybe she is super smart and whatnot, but physically can't do much of anything. It's always a possibility, but it's hard to theorize when she's always been unhealthy and even trained medical professionals can't make heads or tails of it. So, yeah, we'll see what happens.

think about this though, if she continues growing normally but very slowly shes been blessed with a very long life! while many of us will only stick around for 80-100 years, she'll be around for quite a long while.
although at the same time it is a curse, all her friends and family will die off alot faster than she will

That's very unlikely, pokeslob. She's had a multitude of health problems since she was born, she's hardly a healthy person.

just because she ages slowly doesn't mean she'll live for a long time. Sounds to me like her immune system is pretty slow too.

I agree with some people here, She's not going to live very long And she probably won't grow either.

Took the words out of my mouth. That's gotta suck really bad.
